Le Prieuré sur Seine

Le côté isolé et reposant. La maison est magnifique et parfaitement adapté pour une grande famille !

Le fond de la cuvette des toilettes malheureusement sont sales et c’est le cas de tous les toilettes de la maison.

We stayed at Le Prieure at the end of a 2 week road trip around France. It was the best place to end our holiday. The whole house was incredibly sumptuous and luxurious. It’s so artfully and exquisitely decorated. Anni was such a wonderful host - super communication and very helpful for any requests we had. The highlight was being able to borrow her kayaks so the whole family took an amazing trip down the Seine river - it was so serene, kayaking past people swimming and boating. We absolutely loved it.

Had to get used to having no dishwasher but it completely goes with the vintage vibe! Would have loved more options for bigger sized glasses.

An absolute French dream. An authentic historical property brought to life with such cool decoration, antiques and styling. The location was perfect for us, and gives a glimpse of a proper French way of life. Local families started and ended their day swimming in the adjacent river Seine, so it seemed the done thing to join them, which was so welcome when the temperature was hitting 40degrees. We stayed in the Lodge which had 3 huge bedrooms, very comfortable beds, a properly equipped kitchen and ridiculously good showers. It’s a proper lived- in home with books on the shelves and games in the drawers, and I think I’d be equally happy there in the winter with the fires roaring and the river running high next door.

Would’ve loved aircon, but probably not possible with an historic building.
