Milica and her husband were great hosts, even helping me with my luggage in the car (even though the small bus station is literally 4 mins away). Buses to and from Kladovo and onto Beograd I found very easy to use. The place was very comfortable, shower strong and hot, and the view and energy of the area—the way the birds sing and the days and nights and light on the Danube and Fortress (10 min away by car!) is magical. Golubac has a powerful history and feeling to it. Milica was so kind and relaxed (she speaks some English and is an intelligent, fair-minded woman; we used translated messages via the Booking.com app and were able to communicate very well that way). She helped arrange a boat trip to the Fortress and back with a local outfitter, recommended a local taxi driver who spoke English, and pointed out in town where to rent a bike. I think if you wanted to fish this would be the place! There are easy no nonsense money changers in town, no hassle or fuss—I felt very safe in Golubac. The riverside walkway/bikeway at sunset was something I enjoyed nearly every night during my 7 night stay. I relaxed, worked on computer, read, wrote, walked, boated, learned history, sat up on the pretty terrace lawn above the house a couple evenings, and cooked in the house too. There are a few really good restaurants nearby, an underrated pizza pub with seriously the best pizza I've had since Italy just steps away and a great fancier restaurant with excellent food and service just at the station below the house along the waterway. Simple little town but it has character! The location is perfect, accommodations simple, clean, and private. A very affordable real kind of place to explore the Danube area from. I would stay again!

Очень приятная хозяйка, которая старалась сделать всё, чтобы нам было комфортно. Вечером напоила чаем со сладостями, утром сделала большой вкусный завтрак из продуктов собственного производства. Дом сам по себе очень уютный, есть приятная беседка. Жаль, не было возможности задержаться чуть подольше.

Дом не очень предназначен для холодного времени года, поэтому было немного прохладно и вода в душе не прогревалась до комфортной температуры

Gazdele foarte prietenoase și sociabile.Au încercat sa facă sejurul cât mai plăcut. Amplasarea aproape de centru. Este o locație calitate /pret ok!

A fost cam galagiasa dimineața, dar sigur ceva trecător. Este o construcție în lucru în vecinatate și a fost deranjant ca la prima oră au avut ceva descărcări de materiale de constructie, dar sigur a fost ceva de conjunctura!😊
