About this house rental
Central location near the Chattooga River. This house is perfect if you're headed to to area for river excursions, hiking, waterfalls, zip-lining, mountain biking, fishing, weddings, reunions--or any time you're in town with lots of people! {Located in Oconee County, SC very close to Rabun County, GA.}
Great for families, couples with kids and groups of friends who want to stay together after playing on the river and enjoying outdoor pursuits. Popular Chattooga River put-in & take out spots are just up the road. The house has plenty of parking and room for multiple cars.
Moresun Bunkhouse is convenient for guests attending weddings and special events at Chattooga Belle Farm (1 mile away) or The Ridge at Summit Farms (12 miles away) event venues.
The 1969 brick ranch home was renovated in 2020. The house is kid friendly and has WiFi (not commonly found in the area!) The home is off the road with plenty of room to let kids run around and play. Large field out front and spacious back yard. There's a fire ring with wood to burn.
You'll be within walking distance to the Long Creek Community Park which has a basketball court, gaga ball, walking track and covered picnic shelter. (The Long Creek Community Center building is available to rent if you want a place to host a mid-size gathering.)

Our party of 11 was comfortable in the home. The house was clean and well stocked. Excellent location to rafting, hiking and waterfalls. Would highly reccomend if looking to stay in the Long Creek area.

Our host was exceptional but several problems. No hot water and garbage disposal was not working causing the sink to back up.
