Le rapport qualité-prix est exceptionnel ! Le B&B se situe en plein centre historique. L'accueil de Fabrizio et de sa femme est impeccable. Très belle expérience à Piazza Armerina!

The location is quite good: down a quiet side street in the old town. The property is quite spacious and my room was quite spacious and also had a balcony. Check-in was quite straight forward. Room is equipped with aircon.

Internet didn't work. I told the owner, but he didn't do anything about it. There was a shared kitchen of sorts, but it is apparently not allowed to cook there. Didn't bother me as I wasn't planning to cook anything. There doesn't appear to be any heating in the property. One can set the aircon to 'heat' which did remove the chill from the bedroom, but the rest of the house remained cold. There is a (capsule) coffee machine in the kitchen, but I was only provided with one capsule on the first day. I am quite the coffee drinker, so this was not very good. The owner said that a lady would come the next morning to organise/ prepare my breakfast. This seemed to imply that I could expect a substantial breakfast. What transpired, however, was quite different. A lady did arrive at the anointed time (9am - asked for an earlier time, but was told this was not possible). She brought one pastry for me (seemingly from the day before - but quite edible nonetheless) and placed the carton of juice on the table and watched me pour it into the glass. She also popped a capsule into the coffee machine on my behalf. I cannot, for the life of my, understand why her presence was required. I could have foregone the pastry, retrieved the juice from the fridge and popped the capsule in the coffee by myself. Apart from tidying up the breakfast items, and popping a few items of rubbish into a plastic bag, she didn't appear to do anything. The room was not serviced; i.e. no discernible housekeeping was attempted. Nevertheless, she spend two hours in the property 90% of which was spent either smoking outside or yakking into her phone or a combination of the two. I was promised extra capsules but again got onla one solitary capsule. Very odd indeed!

der gastgeber scheint leicht paranoid zu sein . bin auch nicht der erste , der davon berichtet , das er während der abwesenheit der gäste die zimmer betritt . auserdem gibt es kein w-lan . mein rad sollte ich drausen lassen , obwohl drinnen genug platz war und auch niemanden gestört hat .habs dann trotzdem reingestellt .würde beim nächsten aufenthalt in piazza armerina auf jeden fall woanders buchen .
