Excellent stay with wonderful hosts!!!!

A wonderful stay, excellent location for visiting the Christmas markets. Erik and Hilda were wonderful knowledgeable hosts where nothing was too much. Erik explained lots of tips to us for visiting Bruges I.e parking/ things to see etc. They also went above and beyond when we lost a bag on the last day calling local bars for us to retrieve it!! I can’t write a review and not mention the breakfast- the best ever, plentiful supply of local and homemade products. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!!

Lovely B&B, highly recommend

This is a wonderful B&B, very clean and very quiet. The breakfast is excellent, the hosts are super friendly and attentive, and it's a great location between De Haan and Bruges. There is a lovely patio and garden which guests can use and just outside the room are coffee/tea facilities and a small fridge. Parking is free and readily available. We were given maps and tips on where to visit, which was really helpful. Things I personally liked: really comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels, great water pressure in the shower, exceptionally clean.

Not a criticism, just an observation - different to Germany, there is one large duvet for two people. Excellent location if you are travelling by car or if you enjoy cycling, but maybe a bit out of the way if you are relying on public transportation.

Perfect stay with the perfect hosts

This is by far the best B&B I have ever tried. Every detail you would think of has been above expectations. The house is typical for the region, our room was cosy, confortable and spotless clean. The breakfast was royal, with local and homemade products. I loved Hilde's jams and the ham salad! But the best thing with this B&B are the hosts Erik and Hilde. They truly make you feel like home. Their warmst, their kindness and the discussions over a coffee on the terrace are what B&B is all about. Erik gave us advice on the things to do in the region, the farms where we could buy local cheese and the best icecream place. Our stay with them was just perfect and would love to come back soon.

The host was 1st class, the accommodation 1st class, the continental breakfast excellent with great variety. We have been using B&B for short breaks for the past 40 years in the UK and Europe this is by far the best we have used. Thank you Erik and Hilde.

Excellent accommodation with a warm and friendly personal touch.

We have been here for the second time as everything is better than you can imagine but the best thing is the breakfast. No hotel can do the same. Don't eat anything in advance and don't plan lunch in an expensive restaurant! From Flemish liver pate to Hilde's homemade jams, from Eric's fresh fruit salad to Belgian pastries, from French Croissants to Dutch chocolate sprinkles, Eric and Hilde are the nicest host you can imagine. They always go the extra mile (thanks for lending us -for free- your E-bikes!!) Furthermore, the dining room is a place where people meet from all over the world. It is an experience in itself. Don't think twice! Just go!

One of the best B&Bs in the world.

Absolutely exceptional hosts Erik and Hilde run the perfect B&B. The rooms are cozy and well furnished. Everywhere is clean and pleasant. The breakfasts are royal and locally sourced. The pastry is especially excellent. E&H also deliver their products to the table ( yogurt with fresh fruit and cereals its from Hilde is 1**** and Erik's zucchini block 1**) If possible, I will definitely come again.

It's just that I couldn't stay longer.

Very comfortable, clean and a lovely place to stay. The room was large with a little annex where one could sit and read if desired. The hosts were available to answer any queries and were very helpful. The bed was very, very comfortable and the location quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the local restaurant, in the village, was fantastic.

B&B om zeker nog eens terug te keren.

3x genoten van een lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt met vers appelsiensap. Koffiekoeken en verschillende soorten brood waren iedere dag aanwezig alsook vers fruit,yoghurt en verschillende soorten kaas en vlees.Ook zelfgemaakte confituren en zelfgemaakt appelgebak was beschikbaar. De kamers waren van alle comfort voorzien en zeer hygiënisch. Onze fietsen konden we opladen en mochten we in de afgesloten garage zetten. Ook nog een woord van dank voor Erik en Hilde die de B&B met hart en ziel beheren. Wij hebben van de eerste tot de laatste minuut genoten van ons verblijf en we kijken uit om zeker nog eens terug te keren.

Magnifique B&B avec des hôtes de gentillesse extraordinaire

+ belle maison de campagne entre De Haan et Brugge -propriétaires d’une gentillesse incroyable, on se sent pratiquement comme chez des amis, j’ai même reçu un produit à appliquer pour mon problème de dos, super sympa 😊 + propreté exceptionnelle, on peut littéralement manger par terre + petit déjeuner à tomber par terre, plus que complet et avec des produits locaux et de qualité, confiture maison magnifique !!! + chambre belle, confortable +SDB nickel, tout est ultra moderne + calme absolu, belle vue +On peut profiter d’un beau jardin din et lézarder au soleil 😎

Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr, sehr reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich, liebevoll serviert. Hildegard und Erik verwöhnten uns und es war jeden Morgen ein Genuss in stilvoller Umgebung in Ruhe zu genießen zu können.

Als je hier niet tot rust komt dan kom je nergens tot rust .

Alles klopte voor ons . Een kleinschalige bed and breakfast in de stilte vande polders gelegen. Een prachtige ruime kamer , met zithoek onder het dakvenster , een kleine bibliotheek met inspirerende kunstboeken , een meer dan gastvrije gastheer en gastvrouw waar je bij thuiskomt en elke morgen een ontbijt serveren dat meer een brunch dan een ontbijt is . Wij gaan zeker terug , Een ware parel is dit . Mooie mensen , mooie omgeving , mooie bed and breakfast . Je komt als vreemden en vertrekt als vrienden ..

Het is een geweldige plaats om even tot rust te komen.

Hele mooie B&B. Alles was perfect in orde. Kamer klein maar alles was aanwezig. Ontbijt was heel lekker. Er was maar dan genoeg. Gastheer en gastvrouw waren heel gastvrij.

Er was geen plaats om ergens te gaan zitten buiten je kamer ( living).

Traumhafte Basis für einen Kurztrip nach Brügge und Umgebung !

Erik und Hilde waren unglaubliche Gastgeber ! Ihr Haus mit den 3 Gästezimmern ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und man hat alles, was man sich wünscht. Lage: 15min nach Brügge + 15min nach De Haan. Das Badezimmer mit Dusche ist sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Beim Frühstück (Uhrzeit nach Wunsch) wird man richtig verwöhnt (selbstgemachtes Müsli mit Joghurt, verschiedene Brötchen und süße Teilchen und vieles mehr). Erik hat uns zudem unbezahlbare Tipps für unser Wochenende geben können. Danke für Alles !

Perfekt, jeder Zeit wieder.

Erik & Hilde sind zwei wunderbare Menschen, die unseren Aufenthalt dort zu einem unvergleichbaren Erlebnis machten! Wunderschöne, sehr saubere Zimmer. Das Frühstück war ein Traum und die Ausflugstipps sind Gold wert! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
