    This hotel checks all the boxes for a pleasant and comfortable stay in downtown Tuscaloosa.

    Stayed here two nights. My first night I noticed a weird oily substance on the floor of the bathroom and entrances area. I ended up covering it with towels to create a walkway to the shower. Mentioned it to staff the next morning. They were very attentive and assured me it would get taken care of. I left for the day and came back to my room not being done by housekeeping. I asked why and the front desk told me the owner had thought the housekeeping was taking too long that day so sent them home. So i never had my issue resolved. The front desk was apologetic and said they would see about getting me a partial refund since the issue was never resolved. I never got one. Overall, I’d say it’s a decent stay. You get what you pay for and comfort inns are overall reliable. I would stay again. It was disappointing housekeeping was sent home, and i think that incident and the way it was handled says a fair amount about the property management
