Appartements am Schillergarten

Das Appartement hat uns gut gefallen. Es war gut zu erreichen. Die Lage ist perfekt. Von hier kann man sehr gut die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nutzen und auch zu Fuß gut unterwegs sein. Das Appartement selbst ist gut geeignet für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Auch prima ist der kleine Parkplatz, denn sonst wäre es sehr schwierig das Auto abzustellen. Es gibt auch einen Ventilator, der bei Aussentemperaturen von über 30 Grad doch recht nützlich war, obwohl das Appartement sich nicht zu sehr aufgeheizt hat. Die kleine Terrasse ist auch nett.

Weniger gut war für uns, dass es „nur“ eine Senseo-Kaffeemaschine gibt. Es ist natürlich Geschmacksache, aber unser ist es nicht.

Die direkte Anbindung an die Straße - somit war es mitunter extrem laut.

Straßenbahn zu hören , man kann aber trotzdem gut schlafen

-fast and efficient way of communication with the owner, from booking to check-out, -lovely location, on the Laba River, quiet apartment (except for the street tram, which you can hear) -clean room -close to the centre of Dresden (Zwinger, Semperoper, Altmarkt, Neumarkt, etc.) -very close to very good a restaurant, beer garden, ice cream am SchillerGarten, close to shops like Edeka -good starting point for seesighting of Schloss and Park Pillnitz, Meissen, etc.

-very weak wifi signal (basically impossible to use) -it is not mobility accessible room (as it is presented on booking.com); the room is not adapted for people with disabilities (entrance to the kitchen space and bathroom ca. < 55 cm; moreover, there is a radiator behind the bathroom door so the door does not open fully; no handles in the bathroom, no possibility to drive a wheelchair or rollator into the bathroom), no possibility to use the mirror in the bathroom - too high for people in wheelchairs, no space in the bathroom for assistant to help a disabled person -to recover the city tax collected, the need to fill out documents; in other hotels, it is enough to show the relevant documents and the amount of city tax is not charged
