The outside features are the highlight, especially the pool. The jacuzzi, pool, and view of the mountains and lake are absolutely amazing. Heno, who met us, gave us access, and helped us at various times during our stay, especially with the electricity and pool, was great. HOWEVER, the listing of the house says that it sleeps 20 people but in reality, it does not. This was a main reason we rented the house. We went there with family and friends and needed enough beds for 17. However, there were only 3 beds, which means only 6 people have beds. This was very inconvenient for us. We had to have multiple people share beds and others sleep on the floor using cushions from the couches and chairs. We only realized this when we got there, which was late in the evening. If the listing had explained to bring mattresses, we could have done that, or we would have chosen another house. When we arrived, there was paperwork saying we could only sleep 8 and we would have to pay more for additional people. We contacted the property manager and owner and explained how disappointed we were and that it was falsely advertised, but they did nothing to resolve the issue or offer us any refund. We had travelled very far to get there and had our plans for a three night stay, so we could not just make other accommodations at the last minute. This was completely unacceptable. We had to sleep very uncomfortably for the entire stay. ADDITIONALLY, the bathrooms and kitchen were not very clean, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. They only gave us two bath towels per room, no hand towels. If you stay here, you need to bring everything you need like towels, mosquito spray and/or nets, extra bedding, etc. The road is also very difficult so you need to be careful and have the right vehicle. We think we should have a portion of our payment refunded, but we cannot find anywhere on VRBO to request a refund and the owner and property manager offered nothing. We had fun because the pool and outdoors are amazing and we have a fun family and know how to enjoy ourselves.
