Sleeping in a person's home is generally uncomfy but the room and amenities are comparable to that of an actual hotel!

We found a home away from home while going to the races at the Indianapolis Raceway.

The location of Indy's Hidden Gem was perfect for the activities we had planned which included attending the drag car races at the Indianapolis Raceway. The property was easy to get to in a quiet neighborhood and fit our need exactly. Sherry was a very warm and gracious hostess making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions we had. We would highly recommend Indy's Hidden Gem!

Whimsy at its finest

Lovely whimsically decorated cozy home with an excellent, friendly hostess. So much eye candy in the home that it was fun exploring all of trinkets, baubles and collectibles. Location was great for attending the Indy 500, just a short drive.

Fabulous Find!

The minute I walked in the front door…I felt wondrously at home. The property owner’s mind, heart and spirit are reflected wherever you look from luscious plants, to intriguing sculpture, to thoughtful design. The assigned room was clean with a firm bed, mini fridge and complimentary bottled water/hot tea. Shower had great water pressure. Parking was convenient, with shopping and dining options within a couple miles. The host and accommodations absolutely wow’ed - I arrived a stranger and left a friend. :)

Very friendly host and beautiful home in a quiet good neighborhood. Absolutely NO sign of bugs which seemed to be a problem in several hotels in the city.

Bedsheets were obviously clean but had a few stains but that might have just been bleach stains.

It was exactly what I needed. I am in Indy for an event so I just needed a place to sleep and shower in the morning. Both are available in the room I stayed. All downtown hotels were $300+ so the cost was perfect.

Sherry is very sweet and hard working and her home is very clean and peaceful.

Only one thing, sharing a bathroom, but it was very clean and plenty of hot water and always available because everyone was on different schedules. The tub drained a little slower than the shower ran so the water backed up a little. I forgot to let her know.

Sherry was really kind and helpful. The house was in a peaceful location and my stay was restorative. I enjoyed the garden space and eating my breakfast on the back deck.

Had to wait to gain entry to my room which made my settling-in time longer.

A very convenient location near the airport, and amenities such as restaurants and general shopping were nearby.

I had to wait to gain entry to my room for quite a while when I arrived because Sherri was away in class. I did not expect this. I also had difficulty with the electronic key entry to the property, but, fortunately, Sherri was available to help me soet this out.

Fine for one night but I wouldn't book here again.

Location is great (Close to freeway access and lots of restaurants within a 5 min drive) and she seemed like a kind and easy going host. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had good wifi and the TV options were enjoyable.

Our room wasn't the one we understood it would be with a private bathroom (and the ad said we would have access to the infrared sauna). I asked if there was anyone else staying and if the hall bathroom was just our's to use. She showed me her son's door and mentioned he was not there that night, it was just us. Later I came out of the bathroom to a gentleman going into the room we understood we were booking but did not end up in, and we heard another man talking on his phone in another room. A woman started banging on the front door after 9, and then complained very loudly when she came in about the door being locked and did her guests lock it (which we of course did when we came back). They gabbed loudly until after 11.

Location was good. No breakfast with stay. That is the way it was advertised . Coffee was available. Problem, could not find a spoon to stir with. Minor. Exceptional price. Overall could not have asked for anything better. Would definitely recommend to others.
