Oasis Apart-Hotel Residence Vlore

Great location, right on the beach and in an area with a few shops, bars and restaurants. Generally low key and feels a bit off the beaten track, which we liked. The air conditioning worked well, despite leaking a bit.

The apartment building itself is a little dated and not brilliantly maintained; the lift didn't always work, the air conditioning leaked water, the shower tray was a bit broken, and the wifi didn't work for a whole 24hrs at the end of our stay. All relatively minor really but created an overall impression of not being well maintained. The check-in staff didn't really explain well what the options for breakfast were and it wasn't a particularly well appointed apartment.

The room was spacious and the toilets. A large size fridge and freezer for groceries. A balcony, TV with cable network. Black put curtains. Directly at the beach with low water and sand. Good for families with children. The sea goes out shallow for a bit. The restaurant Sea Port by the beach attached to the apartment has really good and fresh food. We didn't eat anywhere but at the restaurant the days we stayed there. Beach umbrella and 2 lounges were included with the room. Supermarkets along the street and other restaurants. Rooms are spot checked to ensure air conditioning is not left running while out and lights are turned off as well by stuff, apparently. We were on the top floor 7th. Balcony with some sea view.

The room walls are thin. Throughout our stay the neighbours child cried for over an hour for whatever reason, running around the apartment, screaming, shouting, having the television really loud. Sleeping in, as we hoped on vacation was not an option due to the ruckus at 7am each morning. We passed on the breakfast at the Sea Port restaurant for 8€ a person to sleep in. The room was not cleaned daily. Towels are changed only 3 days after. No beach towels are provided. The shower pressure is very bad. Took forever to shower. Water trickles. Shower cabin is small. For the size of the bathroom, a bigger shower cabin would have been better. Hard to shower young children in it. The sea water was not clear crystal blue as the beach alomg that stretch has fine and black sand, though clean and clear.

The WiFi was bad, we didn’t have connection the first day and the room that I booked it looked bigger in the pics and in reality was super small, that’s why I needed to upgrade the room to the deluxe one as I saw the first one
