Smoky Mountain Log Cabin Close to Rafting!

Comfortable and beautiful cabin. Gorgeous views and very private.

Only 1 shower. Upstairs bathroom doesn’t have proper door. Beds not very comfortable.

Great cabin will stay again

The cabin was beautiful and the view was amazing.

The floors were covered with dog hair and some of the dishes were put away dirty.

The house was very clean. Charlie is very responsive and was ready to help solve any issues we had. The location was good specially in these COVID times. Very secluded and we had a lot of privacy. The sky was absolutely beautiful and the firepit made it easy to sit and watch the stars at night. The beds were also very good and so were the bathrooms. We had 2 dogs with us and they also enjoyed their stay. We did not use the patio much since we were out during the day and the nights were cold. But it would be pretty awesome to use the patio. It is very nice and large for a group of 4-6 people.

The heater was not working well and the whole cabin was cold the three nights we were there. We did message the owner and he did try to get it fixed. But the HVAC person was not able to make it there while we stayed there. We wanted to grill on the second night but the propane tank was empty by the time we heated the grill so we had to switch to making the food on the stove. Charlie did replace it the next day but we never used it on the 3rd night. The wifi was very finicky and only one person in our party was able to connect to it. But again Charlie was very responsive and gave us options to connect to another wifi. It has more to do with the service provider than the owners. He did mention that the service may be poor but we did not realize we would have problems even connecting to the network. Just one more thing the second bathroom attached to the master bath had a jacuzzi tub only and not a shower which wasn't clear when we booked the place. We ended up using the single bath downstairs for showers. Since we were just 4 people it wasn't any trouble but it would have been better if we knew about it since initially 6 of us were supposed to travel.
