The house is located in the forest and surrounded by trees. There is a comfortable distance to the next neighboring houses and to any traffic. Thus, the outdoors are very quiet. There is an interesting trail from the house to Wilmington, and the trail can be followed on GoogleMaps. There are signs on the way but the course through meadows and private land can be challenging at times.
Unfortunately, noteworthy noise comes from indoors. A loud rattling waked me up in middle of the night. In the adjacent bedroom, I found a cabinet with Radon reduction system tube, which was the source of the noise. Thankfully, I could calm it by use of soft shaking. Initially, the baseboard heaters which encircle the upper living room did not function. It started working after turning the thermostat to a maximum. This should be added in the advertising. The baseboard heaters which encircle the lower living room is defunct and disconnected. There is a kind of replacemant heater in the lower room which made loud noises. There is another quite loud one underneath the kitchen sink. The electric fireplace can add warmth if needed. We had to sit on plastic chairs at the dinner table. No heated pool. The owner told us that the pool is located at the club, which we did not visit. This should be added in the advertising. Definitely not wheelchair accessible. This should be corrected in the advertising. No walk-in shower. To access kitchen and living room you have to climb a steep staircase and you can easily bump your head. Bedroom doors squeak loudly. Baseboard heater humming loudly. Toaster is unpredictable, bagel white in right part, bagel black in left part, repeatedly use cancel button. The owner responds to Whatsapp but not to Email. This should be corrected in the advertising. The too small TV in the upper (living) room hung very high under the roof and makes viewing unhealthy for your neck. We watched TV in the lower (storage) room.
