Designer Cottage +Guesthouse on large private estate in Grand Beach with Hot Tub

Great location for beach goers. Quiet neighborhood and good outdoor space. Guesthouse is a bonus!!

4th time staying at the lovely place. Will look to book again.

This property quickly became one of our favorites. Both units were very clean, modern, and decorated beautifully. We loved the location and thoughtfulness behind all amenities. We will definitely be returning.

Over all stay was great.. we did have an issu of one of the doors not locking at night. I 2as over all clean, some spring cleaning could be done..ceiling fans etc. Communication could be better.. had to ask for check in info a few times before a replying.. bonus there wasnt a huge clean up list, after paying a cleaning fee!!

The home, property, and location were amazing! It was so peaceful! Everything was very nice and the home was well furnished. I loved my stay and hope to come back!

It was disgusting. The hot tub looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. We contacted the property manager to inquire about getting it cleaned. The next day, they responded and had someone there to clean it. Whoever did the cleaning did a terrible job. We got in and things started floating around that looked like algae. We got out and did not get back in. Very disappointing as the hot tub was our main attraction to this home.

This beautiful spot is tucked in a very cute neighborhood and was set up perfectly for our family of 8 including a very nice guest house. We loved everything about this house including the large outdoor swing and seating area. Would definitely stay again.

The main house and guest house are just decorated gorgeously. High end and so comfortable! Relaxing wooded lot a short walk from the beach and short drive to all the fun restaurants, shops, breweries in new Buffalo and surrounding. We wished it was a little warmer during our stay but we’re thankful for the fireplace, outdoor fire pit and hot tub. Tons of seating indoors and out. Will definitely stay again!

This was a great house, very cozy and homey. It had everything we needed and was nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Our group had a blast!

Cool house for a long weekend away from Chicago. The properties literally right next to the IN border which made keeping time a little harder. The property was great for a get away with a big group. There are bikes, a golf cart and lots of other things that make getting to the beach easy.

House and guest house was perfect for our group. Large, private yard, fully stocked kitchen, and designer finishes. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Everything from the location, decor, cleanliness, and communication with the property owner was perfect for a short getaway with the family! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the beds & couches were super comfortable, and we all enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful back yard and hot tub. 10/10 recommend!

This house is amazing. We do not have one complaint. It’s perfect. So clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely be back!!!!

Our family spent our spring break at this property and we had the best time. Every part of this place is well thought out and made for gathering. The kitchen is perfect. The couches and beds are a dream. Great proximity to everything. We visited the Great Escape Spa and the Shady Lane winery and also highly recommend them both. We would love to stay here again.

The house was beautiful and was as described. Only complaint was that the jacuzzi was dirty. The property manager was very responsive and had someone out within the hour to drain and clean it. Overall great experience. We will return.

Top notch house, top notch location! Positioned perfectly between Michigan City and New Buffalo! The house and property fit three families easily. The house is beautifully decorated and has great amenities, bikes, golf cart, fire pit, fireplace, etc.. We give it 5 stars and would definitely rent the house again!

We loved our stay at this property. It was perfect for our family reunion. The place was beautiful, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect. We hope to visit again!

Everything we needed to enjoy a quick trip. Best beach we have been to.

We had such a great week at this house! The space is beautiful indoors and out. We were able to take nice walks each day, enjoy the beach, and the incredible screened-in porch. It was the perfect retreat to celebrate my husband and I's anniversary. Lots of cool restaurants to visit in both New Buffalo & Michigan City. The neighbors were very friendly, safe neighborhood, all around great stay. Jack was very kind, and even offered recommendations on restaurants. This is a place we'd love to stay again.

Used golf cart back and forth to beach. Kids enjoyed the hot tub

Very nice property. Worked well for our kids/grandkids (and grandparents loved having guest house as our getaway when needed!). House newly remodeled with very nice bathrooms. Had minor lock issue that owner handled immediately. Great screened in porch, fire pit, playground equipment for kids. Nice to have golf cart as well. Can highly recommend.

A great facility for a family of kids, parents and grandparents. Amazing kitchen. It had everything we needed to prepare meals for the family.

The house is pretty true to the pictures. Everything is done beautifully, the decor definitely has a designer’s touch. I would say the winding stairs was a challenge to my two son in laws who are over 6’ and had to duck going up and down as to not bump their heads. The bedrooms upstairs are on the small size but the beds were comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the guest house above the garage. It was super cute and perfect for us to have our own retreat. Anytime we had a problem Jack addressed it immediately, providing more firewood and fixing an issue with the hot tub. We loved our stay here and would recommend it with 5 stars!

My friends and I had the most amazing stay at this gorgeous property! It is without a doubt the most aesthetically pleasing home I’ve ever seen. Jack & Ella were SO kind and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. I wish I could have stayed forever, 10/10 recommend!!!

Had a wonderful time at Jack’s property. With the main house and guest house, this was the perfect setup for us. My 17 yo daughter and friends loved the golf cart and hot tub, and cooking elaborate meals in the beautiful kitchen. I loved the tasteful and peaceful decor of the guesthouse and enjoyed daily walks to the beach nearby. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

I will add that Jack was responsive when I let him know about the first two of these issues, but the rest just weren’t worthy of calling in for disturbing our stay. That said, the property should be functioning and immaculate at this price, and I know Jack is committed to addressing these issues. It would have been even better if: the mountains of trash from the prior guests hadn’t been overflowing their trash cans and strewn across the back deck when we checked in (quickly remedied by Jack, thanks!); the hot tub hadn’t had some gross scaling (green slime) along its edges (it was chemically clean and had been treated but we had to wipe the slime off the edges and there was sediment on the seats); the fireplace was usable (Unfortunately the prior tenants had also lit a fire in the fireplace using real materials and thus made using the gas fireplace inoperable); the guest house were in shape (the last guests also made inoperable the bedroom door in that house and knocked off the kickplate under the sink); the main house downstairs lighting all worked (in the main hall, the lighting didn’t work in half the downstairs); the front porch light were able to be turned off inside ( we had to unscrew the porch light to turn it off at night because there was no switch and none of the upstairs rooms had curtains (and the downstairs are only sheer.). Ah, and the teapot leaked all over when poured. It is a fantastic location; and when everything is in working order I’d bet it’s magnificent fun with friends given the great outdoor dining and recreation spaces. But the mess, the slime, the no fireplace, the hanging fire alarm in the first floor master and the oddly placed (unwatchable from-the-couches) tv just meant that winter time, for our small party we would choose a different property next time at a lower rate.
