Xanthi's Dream Place

This apartment was a nice surprise for us. Based on the pictures from booking.com and based on other reviews our expectations were quite low. Looking from the street, the house and the garden seem to be an abandoned place and the access behind a barred door through the staircase to the apartment on the first floor is a little bit creepy. The inside also is quite oldish and you might find small things that would need repairs. However, after the first day spent there, we realized a lot of good things: - The apartment is clean and has all facilities we needed, the kitchen is quite well equipped, rooms are comfortable. - We are alone in the entire house (the ground floor apartment is empty) - The garden is quite nice with its olive trees, and you can park your car there very easily - The area is quiet day and night, but Potos night life center is 5mins walk. Sometimes we hear the music played from a tavern in late evening, but it is quite soft and far enough for not representing an issue. Actually, I liked it very much. 😊 - There is a very small beach 50m from the apartment, also very quiet with very few people on it. - We had few minor requests for repairs and other small logistics that were addressed promptly by the host - In the end, the oldish atmosphere of the building in general, and of the apartment in particular, has a its own charm.

Just to be picky, we can complain about: - Crockery and cutlery in the kitchen could be more generous in a house that can host up to 6 people - The AC units are quite noisy - Maybe a little bit of proactive maintenance might make the place friendlier.

Very nice location in Potos town. Also has everything needed in the apartment for a comfortable stay. Easy parking in the yard.

Cleaning could be improved. It was not as clean as expected when we arrived.

Very good WiFi. Very close to the beach!

.The house was great positioned on the island. In a wery quietly street near at a almost private beach.
