About this house rental
Remodeled Townhouse with open floor plan centrally located in Stowe Village, with-in walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Stowe Recreation path, makes this an ideal location for a Short or Long Term Rental. The open living area includes a remodeled kitchen, with breakfast counter. A dinning area with seating for 6. This opens up into a living room with a new gas fireplace for you to enjoy on winter evenings. The living room has sliding doors out onto a nice deck with views of Camels Hump. The main living area also has a den with a sleeper sofa and a very nice half bath out in the hallway . Upstairs is the Master Bedroom this large bedroom with a King Size bed has an ensuite bathroom . There is also a good size walk in closet. Downstairs on the lower level are two more bedrooms one has a set of bunk beds and the other two twin beds. There is also a full bathroom . Between the two bedrooms is a recreation room with a TV , Comfortable couch and a Fuse ball table for your enjoyment. Just outside through the lower level door is a private salt water hot tub for your enjoyment overlooking the private back yard consisting of a lawn surrounded by woods. There is a table and chairs just across from the hot tub and there are more out on the lawn. This is a perfect place to enjoy Stowe year round.

Beautiful townhome, well furnished and luxury linens. Hot Tub was very clean and great ending to our days exploring Vermont on our Mother-Daughters Weekend. Easy walk into town with pathway out the front door.

The townhouse is well located and very well appointed. It presents well as a luxury apartment and has a gas fireplace, grill and kitchen with anything you’ll need. The bedrooms are comfortable and the jacuzzi is modern and a nice touch, though it does have an active surveillance camera pointed directly at it, which we thought crossed a line with respect to guests’ privacy.
Unfortunately we experienced a couple of problems and the manager, Elaine, was very difficult to deal with. The underfloor heating is great but doesn’t work in the room with the bunk bed. Elaine did not believe us when we reported it and we had to fight to get a portable heater to keep the room warm for one of our kids. The house heating is controlled via a series of Google Nest thermostats and is difficult to manage due to energy saving preset temps that you have to override. Our experience was that one room overheated and the other (bunk room) froze.
The foozball table was broken and dangerous if you have kids around and there were no basic amenities such as soap and shampoo (these were later provided on request and after more attitude from Elaine).
Overall we would love to give this home a perfect review as it is very comfortable but Elaine was so dismissive and rude to us we simply have to warn others. We are veteran travellers and very reasonable, Elaine was not so reasonable and in every conversation we had with her she talked over us and made us feel as though we were ruining her day.
Not a great approach for a concierge business, which also doesn’t provide all of the advertised services such as babysitting.
