A simple and charming Auberge offering good food. A perfect place to stay!

We loved the situation of the hotel which was great for exploring as well as walking from the door. Our room was simple and very nice with a good sitting area, but with steep stairs to the bedroom area. Absolutely fine for us though. The breakfast was good, as was dinner

It was a slightly quieter time for the hotel so the menu didn't change. But there is an excellent cafe serving sea food a few minutes away. Make sure you get the right one, look at trip advisor!

Very well presented rural property and restaurant but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The property is a very attractive restoration and the restaurant was really good for both luncheon and breakfast. The staff were really helpful and kind and whilst our knowledge of the French language is very limited, all were very patient and polite to us. When there was a problem with using the local bus service, staff in both the office and the restaurant were kind and gave us a lift to Omonville la Roque village centre.

The rooms are not suitable for anyone with a disability as the principal bed is set on a mezzanine, accessed by an almost vertical open tread staircase. Totally unsuitable for people with a walking difficulty. The fact that the local bus service failed to operate as advertised on two of the three days we stayed means that this is not a location to visit without your own transport.

Great location, lovely walks

Lovely old manor renovated into a hotel (and annexed museum). Lovely rooms.

Rooms are quite small. Not much space to put away clothes (in the triple room) but it was fine for a few nights. We really missed air conditioning, the double bed is just under the roof and it gets quite warm at night. Luckily there was a fan. They also told us because the manor is a national monument they cannot add air conditioning without approval from the district.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à l'auberge des Goubelins où nous avons reçu un accueil parfait. L'emplacement est magnifique, le cadre apaisant et reposant. La literie est de grande qualité. Les petits déjeuners délicieux et variés- excellentes viennoiseries ! Notre fils de 7 ans était ravi - les chambres triples sont idéales pour les familles. Nous reviendrons !

Kein Spiegelei zum Frühstück, ansonsten wurde aber jeder andere Wunsch erfüllt! Es war eben keine warme Küche morgens, das ist wirklich Stöhnen auf höchstem Niveau! In Frankreich in ländlicher Umgebung und in der Nebensaison auch nicht unbedingt zu erwarten! All in All: top, jederzeit gern wieder

Le lit à l’étage avec un escalier mortel car on n’a plus 20 ans ! Mais en bas il a eté possible d’arranger un lit en 180 heureusement Pas de salle accessible dans l’hôtel en dehors de la chambre pour travailler mais c’est secondaire !

Séjour très agréable à l'auberge des Gobelins

Emplacement merveilleux au sein d'un vieux manoir du 16ème siècle, au coeur de la campagne du Cotentin. Très bien situé pour visiter la côte Ouest. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Chambre très calme.

Le lit est situé en mezzanine, sans possibilité d'aérer et sans clim, les jours chaud il est donc difficile de faire baisser la température dans la chambre pour dormir.

Sehr ruhig, mitten in der Natur in einem alten Gehöft. Prima Frühstück und sehr, sehr freundliches Personal. Gute Küche. Schönes Ambiente im Barbereich. Überall im Haus großflächige Schwarz-Weiss-Fotos mit Motiven vergangener Zeit.

Alles extrem eng. Wendeltreppe, um in das Zimmer zu kommen, im unteren Bereich nicht ausreichend beleuchtet. Einfache Ausstattung. Sehr, sehr steile Treppe, um in den oberen Schlafbereich zu gelangen. Für ältere Personen nicht geeignet. Bei Aufenthalt von 4 Tagen wurde das Zimmer nur einmal aufgeräumt. Einmal total vergessen.Tee und Kaffee wurden nicht nachgefüllt. Benutzte Tassen und Gläser im Zimmer nicht gereinigt.

Le personnel et le restaurant qui mérite une étoile au guide Michelin, trop bon et le service parfait.

Une chambre plus spacieuse et pas de mezzanine, c'est le seul point négatif de notre séjour et aussi le fait qu'il n'y ai pas de volets. Le salon est bien mais il aurait été mieux en haut et la chambre en bas.
