Very cool property on the lake. Great view! Inside was very clean and comfortable. Outside was not kept up as well. Water craft such as kayaks were very dirty and not really usable. We were very surprised at how difficult it was to access the suite. A lot of steep, cement stairs without handrails. Lower steps had a very large step height. Difficult to bring belongings in and out. Owner was very friendly and personable. Would suggest more transparency on accessibility in the site description.

What a lovely time! We had no issues checking in or out (we were actually greeted by our lovely host, Janis)! Not only is this an incredible lake front getaway, it's also a yoga retreat center! We signed up for a couples's sound bath that was so relaxing and life affirming! I can't say enough about Janis and Dave (and Lex - their sweet doggo). Just lovely humans and pup!!! Accommodations we're perfect for a couple wanting a getaway. There was a HUGE shower and a private hot tub right on our deck that was so cozy during an evening rain! Small fridge, Keurig, electric tea kettle, dishes, utensils and very hot water to wash everything with the dish soap provided. The bed was luxurious and at night, there are little lights out in the trees that look like tiny fireflies. Super charming! The dock to the lake is right off the private deck. There's a couch and coffee table on the deck and a 6-person patio table outside. We used the gas BBQ and enjoyed the tabletop propane fire pit. I can't say enough good about this place!

This room was the perfect escape for my wife and I. The peaceful, tranquil and relaxing environment that is created here is amazing. The room itself is cozy, well thought out and has everything 2 people need. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchenette is great for small snacks and or small cooking needs. The real winner of this space is the exterior. The hot tub, the chairs, the table, the BBQ - the exterior square footage is absolutely amazing and being able to sit and sip a coffee while hearing the lake sounds makes the stay so enjoyable. BIG bonus was the use of the lake gear - we used the kayaks and went around the lake a few times. Huge bonus!

My wife and I loved the location. Quiet and peaceful. We had a private patio with a hot tub we used every night. We sat on the dock every day and enjoyed the beautiful view. The host is on site if anything is needed but you wouldn’t know it as she respects everyone’s privacy. She has an on site yoga retreat and does sound bathe if you’re interested. We didn’t this time but would sign up in the future. Great place and we’d stay again with no hesitation.

On the lake, in the woods, quiet, peaceful, super comfy bed, beautiful place, super clean, your own privaye hot tub, water toys for the lake, yoga and sound bath! Quiet a few stairs that are at different highest so can be a little uncomfortable as i recently had a knee replacement. Access to dock handrail on those stairs is rotten & in a bad state of repair. There was a issue with a wasps nest near the bbq area that we informed the owner she informed us she knew but hadn’t done anything about it. They gave us some wasp traps but I’m on vacation so don’t just drop them off you should have set them up not just left them on a table.

We really enjoyed the location. The lake is beautiful. Yesterday we saw a bald eagle from the patio. The bed is super comfortable. It was so quiet that we slept with just the screen door open. We highly recommend this location.

We stayed here for a few days with the intent of exploring some touristy stuff on the island, but wound up spending most of our time at our room - sooo cozy sitting by the propane firepit at night with a drink, and popping into the hot tub to warm up while it was a bit rainy. Also loved just sitting out on the dock enjoying the surroundings. AND!! Awesome huge shower! Awesome stay all around!

Everything about this property was excellent from the moment you walk in through the gates. Down the stairs to a beautifully set up back area. Fire pit, tables and chairs to sit and gather. Your suite has its own private deck with everything you could need to relax outside. Huge bonus is the.hot tub! The suite is nicely laid out and super clean. All uou need for your stay is close at hand. The bathroom is large and the shower is amazing. Going out the back and walking out to the dock to have tea/coffee while basking in the sun. There's also a push pedal boat to take out on the lake! I took the sound bath session and that was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it! All in all it was a great stay and I can't wait to go back

The only advice I have us to beware the mosquitos though spray was thoughtfully provided. This compact bedsit comes with a large, comfortable bed, a useful kitchenette and a very good and spacious shower/bathroom. The location is right on a smallish lake and a bonus is a wonderful dog and very helpful owner.

Our host was very friendly and made us feel at home. It felt very private and the deck was the perfect spot to bbq and hang out in the evenings. The lake was beautiful and warm and having access to the paddle boards was awesome as the sun left the dock after noon but you can paddle out on the lake to catch more sun. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family! Thank you!

This owner has thought of everything for your stay! So conscientious and welcoming and easygoing. We loved it here. Cozy room with comfortable king bed with a view of the lake from the bed. The kitchenette was so handy, and the deck with hot tub & fire bowl was so perfect for the evenings. The owner is so easy to talk to, but leaves you to your privacy. There is a lot of stairs to the suite down the side of the property but it was fine for us. Our dog loved it there and the property’s dog was friendly. Beautiful stay and we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful, clean, fully equiped suite overlooking a scenic lake in the heart of Langford, Victoria B.C. I would have to say that it was probably the most comfortable sleeping quarters I've stayed in to date and our host was friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend this property and would also return again at a future date.

Our stay at this property was superb. It offers everything needed for a private, comfortable respite from the busy-ness of life. It is equipped with all that is needed for morning coffee on the dock, outdoor seating area, or in the fantastically comfy kingsize bed, as well basic meal preparation. Janis is very responsive while simultaneously respectful of your space. The inflated hot tub, fire table, propane fire pit, full-size BBQ, hot outdoor shower, water crafts and toys are a serious bonus. The large rain shower is fantastic too. And the cherry on top was the lovely sound of the breeze in the tall trees and getting to hear/watch baldheaded eagles. Do not hesitate, this place is absolutely worth it!

This lakeside property is something dreams are made of! Stayed here for two nights. Had plenty of privacy with ample lake access. Great spot to paddle board or go swimming while enjoying the propane fire at the end of the night along with a nice hot tub.
