Villa Manolo Torrox by Ruralidays

Beautiful property, private, great pool and lovely and quiet too. All you need to getaway from the hustle and bustle! Loved it and if I’m in Torrox again this will be my first choice by far!

Very minimal, kettle doesn’t switch off and no handrail to get in and out of pool?

Property was a little tried needed some TLC, Advertised outside pool with air bubble facility did not work switches missing looked like missing/ Broken for some time. Advertised Bath Tub not there had been replaced with walk in shower Cooking utensiles very limited

Beautiful location really peaceful, Villa had sufficient facilities to enjoy a restful and relaxing holiday, pool was very clean albeit very cold to enter but fine once climatized, and it was October, loved the glass conservatory, we used this every evening for dinner, never really used the lounge inside as we love being outside but due to time of year it was cool and damp after 9pm so the conservatory was great, comfortable furniture would have been a bonus.

There was a aqua pump on the side of the wall leading to the villa, it was very noisy thought maybe faulty, seemed to be serving the villa above also as even when we weren’t using water the pump switched on, this did spoil the peace and quiet the Villa was otherwise exceptional for. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very hard and would benefit from a king size bed, felt there was space to accommodate a king size. The jacuzzi in the pool did not work, this was a shame as we do love a jacuzzi and it would have helped to climatize before getting in the pool. The hot water in the shower was limited and struggled to get 2 showers before getting cold. Lucky we love each other’s company as we could not get the TV on English as we did stay in 6 of the 7 evenings and dined in the conservatory with only the aqua pump disturbance, hope this could be looked into along with the bed as we would recommend and would return to this very lovely, peaceful and great value for money villa.

The views and garden area

Strong Smell of mould in the kitchen this was found behind the draw units had to wash all the utensils and pans. Bed and sofa (both hard) wasn’t the greatest but they both did the job. The bedroom door rubbed along the tiles which was made difficult to fully open causing noise in the night when opening and closing. Toilet pan isn’t fixed to the floor properly so move when in use.
