It was close to everything : Multiple beaches , restaurants , approximately a 20 minute ride by bus from Chania city centre . The owner Joseph was super friendly and hospitable willing to answer any question that you may have . I highly recommend
The wi fi connection could be better but thats the only thing i can think of .

I really like the pool, it was a good size and a good temperature. You could lay by the pool all day if you wanted and you usually could find free sunbeds every day. The owner is also a really nice man that was helpful if we needed anything. He let us have a late checkout the day we were leaving and that was very kind. I also like that the Hotel is close to the beach, restaurants and a groceryshop. The room was a good size for two people. I like that we got some complimentary bathroom neccessities like soaps and q-tips. The room has 3 mirrors which is good. The beds were comfortable.
The lot of the Hotel was a bit overgrown and generally seems a bit abandoned. We had to duck under trees to get to the rooms. The area also has an insane amount of cicadas(a lot more than what we have experienced on previous trips to Chania), so much so that we could not use the balcony after dark because the cicadas kept flying into our faces looking for the balcony light. At day time the balcony was so loud by cicadas that it huet our ears so we didnt want to use it. The listing says the room is well isolated, but you could really hear the cicadas and they woke me up in the morning because they make so much noise, it hurts your ears if youre too close to the trees.
The pictures shows a pool and a jacuzzi, but the jacuzzi was not really in use. There was a sign between the trees to ask the staff for the jacuzzi but the staff was not always around and the area around the jacuzzi was very overgrown with trees and bushes.
It is not informed on the listing on booking.com that you are not allowed to bring food to your room, but you are not allowed to because of the risk of ants, which there were quite alot of around the hotel. Personally, we had to bring food to the room anyway because it was not in our budget to eat breakfast at restaurants every day.
The listing also says theres a restaurant at the Hotel, our impression is that its not. We never saw an open kitchen or a chef. They have a bar with some drinks and a small list of food, but most days the bar was closed and the lights were turned off after dark, unless you asked the staff to turn it on.
The room was clean and they did a good job of cleaning it often, but the cleaners often left the balcony doors fully open while we were not home, without the bug mesh doors closed, so we came back to the room filled with mosquitos and bugs.
The wifi was bad. Dont expect to actually have wifi accessible.
The Hotel has good potential but it needs a little work.
