I like the host for being responsible and courteous to follow up to ensure everything was okay. And he tried to reply to any messages as soon as he could.
Unfortunately, the apartment building is rather run down and not maintained to a more acceptable standard. For example, sadly swimming pool was down, even walkway was dark and without lighting, a number of spoiled blinking light along walkway, number of lifts were down etc.
