Ski, board, mountain bike, play golf, hike the Tongariro Crossing & NZ's best trails or cosy up with a book & a glass of wine. This is the perfect place to shut down and unwind.
Conveniently located an 10 minute walk to Ohakune Town Centre and only a short stroll to the iconic Carrot Adventure Park, featuring a wonderful new bike pump track, obstacle course and river walkway. 30 Minutes by car to Turoa Ski field or 45 minutes to Whakapapa Ski Field. 35 minutes to the start of the Tongariro Crossing - with Shuttle Services to and from.
Nestled amongst trees and paddocks, Redrock Hut offers all the comforts of home in a cosy, clean, fully furnished, rustic cabin. Redrock sleeps 8 guests (6 adults max as 2 top bunks are for children only) in three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's enough toxic overload in our lives - you don't need it on holiday! We only use eco friendly and toxin-free cleaning products so you can feel cleansed and restored staying with us.
The full sized kitchen and laundry/drying room, offer all the amenities a family needs for their winter or summer mountain adventures.
After a day on the slopes, bike or trails, this is a magical place to unwind with a glass of wine and reflect on the days adventures.
In the evening,, enjoy a movie on Chromecast or visit one of the many wonderful local restaurants and bars in Ohakune Township.
Redrock Hut is designed with love for families, friends, or busy couples in need of a quiet, rejuvenating hiatus. Linen, quality bedding and a cleaning service are provided as well as tea and coffee.

This is our second stay at Redrock Hutt and we love it here. Beautiful accommodation, it is well laid out, clean and warm. The location is great, it is a short drive to Ohakune but also walkable using the short cut through to the carrot park. Easy communication with the host, we highly recommend.

My husband, son and I recently stayed for a long weekend. This property is great, warm, well equipped and great location. Five minute walk to the carrot park and a few more minutes walking to get to the centre of Ohakune. Easy communication with the host. I would definitely stay again.
