Villa Maresia Dourada

Great location - a 5 minute walk from a lovely beach with 3 restaurants serving fabulous food particularly monkfish and prawn cataplana and sea bass. The villa was very child friendly which was perfect for our grandchildren - plenty of safe space to run around and a nice warm pool as we’d asked for it to be heated prior to our stay. There was plenty of space for our 6 adults too with 2 tables to eat at and play evening games. Pool towels were provided which was super helpful and plenty of other towels and a well stocked kitchen for the couple of evenings we ate in. Any queries we had were answered really promptly both before we arrived and during our stay.

A minor improvement would be to re-stick the small mosaic loose tiles at the bottom of the pool.

The villa was amazing! We had the best holiday!

Great location - within short walk of lovely beaches, a supermarket and plenty of nice restaurants. Pool area was lovely with plenty of loungers, shaded areas and different seating options. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathroom and swim towels provided. Jose the house manager dealt efficiently and effectively when we had an issue with the fridge not working.

The pool heater stopped working and although we were refunded for the days it was not working it was a little disappointing as one of our reasons for selecting this Villa was the heated pool option. Luckily the weather was hotter than expected so pool temp was bearable despite heater not working.
