A restful New Year's break in stunning surroundings.

The location is stunning, at the foot of Mount Errigal. It is fairly remote but in close driving distance to An Chuirt hotel for tasty bar food. The house was well equipped and clean. Lots of useful information provided about the local area.

Perfect location for exploring the beautiful west coast of Donegal

Beautiful house in a stunning location. It has everything you need for a self catering stay. We loved our visit with our two dogs and would definitely stay here again.

If booking with dogs, be aware that the garden is not 100% secure. This was communicated to me at the time of booking and wasn’t a problem for us.

The only very minor observation was that the wet room with the shower filled up very quickly within minutes and we had to put towels down to stop the water overflowing into the hallway

Fantastic relaxing trip with the kids

Second time back and for a little longer this time. Nice chilled time with the kids. Kids now call this place ‘the holiday house’ I’ll be back again! Great location. Rural and out of the way with a fantastic view and plentiful accommodation/site. But only a short drive to a lot of local sites!

The house was absolutely beautiful, great facilities ,open fire, 2x bathrooms, comfortable beds, dog friendly and absolutely beautiful setting!

Clean ,very comfortable beds,2 beautiful bathrooms and kitchen ,absolutely everything we needed, the staff even left some milk, breathtaking views.

Hole in driveway I have a very low bumper had to try avoid hole without damaging car,as the property is pet friendly the living room rug has dog hairs so had the pull out bed, we didn’t bother to pull it out in the end and just kept the flip flops on.

It’s been our best trip to Donegal

Errigal Lodge exceeded our expectations on every level. The house is clean, well equipped with all you would expect and plenty more. The views from the house are stunning and Dunlewey is an excellent base with so much to do on your doorstep. We loved it so much we have already booked our next stay having only left this morning.

Perfect place for a perfect holiday!

Lovely views of the lake and the mountains all around. Perfect location with all main amenities, a short drive away, and many hiking trails. Clean, very spacious, cosy bungalow. Very quiet at night and tranquil in the evenings.

A pathole in a driveway to be minded when driving in , especially in a low vechicle. I suppose it is caused by a heavy rainfall and very little can be done about it but it is not a major problem.

Scenic and Peaceful

We had the absolute best 2 nights staying here in May with our dog! Bridget was an absolute pleasure to deal with! The house itself is immaculate, so cosy with stunning views of Errigal to the back, and the Posioned Glen to the front. So quiet and peaceful, and the house had everything you could ask for plus more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and really hope to come back again soon!

Excellent would love to go back

Excellent location in the Glen over looking the loughs, Errigal directly above the back of the property. Central location, easily accessible to the regional and national roads to visit surrounding village’s and towns, local amenities available while still offering seclusion. Close to national parks and trail up Errigal is within walking distance.

Very good

This property is delightfully located down a lane and overlooking Dunlewy Lough. The accommodation had plenty of space and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Beautiful scenery and the binoculars (located in the drawer of the blue dresser) got great use! There's a garage and shop 3 minutes down the road (Roarty's) which was handy. A 15-20min drive to Glenveigh National park and about 30mins to Donegal Town. During our stay we got the ferry over (and took the car) to Arranmore Island which was a great day out - if you go, I recommend the fish and chips from the yellow double decker bus!

The shower cubicle is small and a little awkward to use.
