3-star experience at a 5-star price

Positive aspects of staying at the hotel: - direct access to a beautiful beach, - complimentary towels, sun loungers, and parasols, - excellent view from the balcony, - peaceful surroundings in the immediate vicinity of the city of Vlore, - comfortable bed, - friendly staff who do their best to accommodate guests.

The hotel did not meet my expectations, which were based on beautiful pictures and high guest ratings. The hotel advertises itself as a 5-star hotel, although it is far from it. Based on my experience, I would say it is an average 3-star hotel. The exterior facade promises a lot, but the interior is dominated by cheap materials. The interior lacks soul. There is practically no decoration. Maintenance is poor, as wear and tear is visible in many places, even though the hotel is only 5 years old. The room has a mini bar, but there is no coffee or tea or kettle. There is no 24-hour reception, no concierge, no swimming pool, no spa center, no restaurant, and no additional services. A restaurant is currently being built on the roof, and apparently a swimming pool and spa center are also in the works. The staff walk around dressed in casual clothes, so you never know if they are guests or staff. Breakfast is served in a restaurant that appears more like a factory canteen than a 5-star restaurant (without tablecloths and decorations). Most of the food was cold. The only tea that was available was chamomile (I don't drink coffee). The beach is right in front of the hotel, but it is quite neglected, and the hotel sun loungers are dirty and poorly maintained. Between the beach and the hotel, there is a kind of beach bar, which is owned by the same owners as the hotel. The bar is quite worn out, and the chairs and tables are poorly maintained. In short, I felt cheated. Everything would have been OK and in line with expectations if the hotel had advertised itself as a 3-star hotel and set its prices accordingly.

A perfect relaxing getaway by the beach

This beautiful hotel is located just outside of Vlora in a quieter area, which was perfect for us as we were looking to relax. Do note that you'll need a car to get around, but the peaceful surroundings make it worth it. The staff were wonderful, very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of freshly made food, fresh fruits, and delicious coffee from a real espresso machine. One of the highlights was the complimentary minibar, which was a lovely bonus. And the view... absolutely breathtaking! The hotel is right on the beach, offering stunning views that made our stay even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful, beachfront location!

The only small suggestion we have is that the beach area could be maintained a bit more, but this didn’t take away from what was truly a wonderful and memorable stay.

Prefect and Amazing hotel

The hotel was perfect. It’s in a great location, just 8 minutes outside the city, offering a very peaceful atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly, the beach is spotless, and the massage was absolutely wonderful. The overall experience was relaxing and stress-free, with every detail carefully thought out to make guests feel comfortable. The rooms were cozy and well-kept, the food was delicious, and the entire environment created the perfect balance between comfort and nature. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway

Fell short of our expectations.

I wanted to like this place just some things where hard to look over. No operational spa, no pool, only one restaurant with limited menu and mediocre service. The location and view from the room were fantastic but need more than just that to make this a great stay. The staff tried their best however this fell short of the five star experience we are used to.

Limited menu items, slower service and not pleasant waivers, you basically had to beg them to service you. No amenities whatsoever except the beach. No operational spa, pool, sauna or anything else. Room was very small in my opinion from what we have seen from five star hotels in the past.

Hospitality that feels like home!

I have nothing but praise for this hotel. The location is sensational, tucked away from the street and right on the beach. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The entire property is very clean, and the room was inviting and cozy. The staff is outstanding, from the manager Kita to the housekeeping team. The way the manager and her team treated my 75-year-old mother went far beyond all expectations. If it were up to her, she would have spent the rest of the summer at this place, surrounded by such genuinely kind and lovely people. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. They offer both Albanian and continental breakfast options, including fresh fruits and coffee. You can enjoy breakfast either in the hotel or at the hotel’s beachfront restaurant with a beautiful sea view. The restaurant by the beach serves very tasty food, and dining there while watching the sunset is truly a highlight. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who values the qualities I’ve described here. All around, a perfect stay!

Amazing Stay

Everything was perfect! The room was big and clean with everything we needed, the sea view from the balcony was breathtaking, the restaurant offers delicious dishes (especially the pizzas), the proximity of the beach with cristal-clear turquoise water and comfortable sunbeds was definitely a must! The staff was incredibly friendly and very professional, they help you with anything you need or desire, they are ready to do anything to make your stay the best possible (especially Kita and Ermal). There also is a mini market close to the hotel in case you need food or drinks and the city center is not far away. The location is very calm and beautiful (way better than the hotels in the city center). I strongly recommend this hotel!

Everything was marvelous. The property, location, surrounding and top of that the staff. We had wonderful breakfast served specially by Miss Kita, the General manager of the hotel. First we thought that she was one of the owners as she was looking after each and everything. She was so kind and co-operative and was treating us as very special guest. Thanks Kita! you will always be in our memories.

The indoor pool was not operative. There should be an electric kettle in the room.

Amazing view and staff, everything else was 3 stars at best

We stayed in a family room and I must say the view was amazing. The woman at reception was incredibly nice and really tried her best. But she could only do so much...

There were some negatives though: The TV did not work, I couldn`t get any channels though I tried for about 30 minutes. The TV was very dirty and smeared upon arrival. The chairs on the balcony could be nicer, more comfortable. The room itself had paint chipping from the walls in places. No coffee or tee making possibilities in the room. Breakfast was very below average. Barely meets a three star service. Definitely not 5 star. The water was turned off sometime in the morning while my partner was showering (it took about 20 minutes to get it back on: me going down to reception because...: Yes the telephone in the room dosn`t work and you can`t contact reception. No wifi password in room (again had to walk down to reception to ask)

Hotel is OK, location is bad

The hotel is fairly new, so it is good. Room was decent, staff was nice and polite. We did not use beech but it looked nice. If your vacation is beech time, then this hotel and its location is good.

The hotel is not 5 star by any stretch of imagination. At most it is 3-4 star. The hotel is comparable to regular business travel hotel in USA. Location of the hotel is undesirable. the road from the main road to the hotel is rough. It is hard to understand why this hotel and the hotels using same access from the main road did not invest just a bit and make the access road a bit nicer. It is far from Vlora’s promenade, you will need car.

A great place to stay and experience Albanian beach life.

The location is lovely, on the beach, although parking was a little problematic. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke good English, which helped us as we spoke no Albanian. My room, with a seafront view was gorgeous.

My only reservation was that some of the rooms were described as having a mountain view. In reality this was more of a car park view.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They did their best during our stay to make us feel very welcome. Views are great, pizza is very tasty and it has a private beach.

Very clean and organized, the beach is amazing and the view we had was breathtaking! Breakfast was super good, a very typical albanian breakfast and overall everything was perfect!

They didn’t lie when they said that Albania is well known for their costumer service during on and off season. My stay in this hotel was exceptional moreover the staff was very kind mentioning the front desk girl who was mesmerising and correct. Regardless its beautiful architecture, I recommend this hotel as your next destination during THE HIGH SEASON most assuredly. To sum it up, the facilities this hotel offers are what a individual needs on their vacations.

Ocean view from the balcony was extra ordinary. Food was very good and entire staff very friendly.

Fully aware of the storm 10 prior our arrival we expected a bit a cleaner beach as we saw how neighbour hotels did a good job. The lounge chairs could be cleaner comparable to other 5 star hotels. Price per day was rather on the upper end in comparison to other hotels we have seen in Albania e.g. Saranda
