Beautiful get away in the mountains

A beautiful location with stunning views - a real retreat!

Stunning views and very friendly host and family. Wifi was brilliant and sitting outside working with the sun coming over the mountains was glorious!

It was exeptionally hot for the region when we were there which we know is not usual (high 30s) so the apartment was extremely warm with no air-con or fans because we know it would not normally be needed. The problem was that if you left the doors or windows open, there were hundreds of mosquitos. Needs netting on the windows if the temperatures are going to continue to be like this.

Petit cocon à l’extérieur de Monthey (Choëx) au rez-de-chaussée d’une villa

L‘accueil est top ! la propriétaire est charmante. Elle a eu la gentillesse de m‘appeler pour m‘aider à trouver le chemin qui est en effet pas très facile à trouver. La chambre/studio est un petit cocon, très bien équipé. La vue depuis la terrasse est top et j‘imagine assez bien que l‘endroit est idéal en été avec avec un petit café. Place de parc à disposition, ce qui est agréable.

Seuls deux petits reproches : les oreillers ne sont vraiment pas confortables, de même que l‘accès à la douche, qui est en fait dans la baignoire, n’est pas très aisé pour une personne de mon âge. Une douche serait pour moi vraiment idéale. Ce ne sont que des détails l’ensemble est sinon parfait.

Séjour ressourçant de par la tranquilité du lieu, les espaces verts et la vue sur les montagnes.

Hôte accueillante et réactive. Studio spacieux et fonctionnel. Endroit calme, reposant et verdoyant. La vue du studio est très jolie. Magnifiques randonnées à faire

Il y a rien que l on a pas apprécié mais juste si je peute permettre une petite indication Le Lapia en haut de la descente et une fois arrivée à la maison serait un petit plus

Tolle Aussicht und das wars auch schon.

Das Studio liegt ganz hoch oben am Hang. Zufahrt ist schlecht markiert und an einer Fahrverbotsstrasse. Wenn man das dann weiss, ist es mit dem Auto gut anfahrbar. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Eine Busstation ist oberhalb der Wohnung. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend und das Studio liegt quasi im Keller des Einfamilienhauses mit separatem Eingang. Das Badezimmer ist sehr gross und es hat einen grossen Fernseher wo man sich mit Netflix und Co mit seinem Account verbinden kann. Das WLAN funktionierte auch einwandfrei.

Die Wohnung war schmutzig und roch nach Duftöl. Staub überall an den Möbeln, Fussel am Boden. Da sich das Studio quasi im "Keller" des Hauses befindet, hatte es ein paar Spinnen und sehr viele Spinnweben überall. Ameisen und kleine Käfer kamen ab und an mal zu besuch. Obwohl mir die Dame sagte ich könne nicht früher kommen, da sie noch putzen muss weil ein Gast davor da war, machte es mir eher den Anschein, als wäre länger niemand hier gewesen. Die Küche ist notdürftig ausgestattet. Kaffeemaschine hat es eine Dolce Gusto. Man erhält 3 Kapseln und muss dann eine Packung selber kaufen. Die Tassen waren ebenfalls schmutzig. Auch gab es zum Abwaschen des Geschirrs ausser ein Geschirrtuch und Seife nichts. Die Wohnung hat nur einen kleinen Heizkörper. Zum Glück war es nicht so kalt. Der Boden ist aus Stein und so empfiehlt es sich Hausschuhe mitzunehmen, gegen kalte Füße.
