Casina Elio - Charming Villa with Private Garden & Parking

We arrived to the secure parking area in a pretty garden after a stressful long drive with faulty GPS. We were welcomed by Giulio and his family who made us immediately feel completely relaxed. The little home is so perfect in every way, a well equipped kitchen, dining/living area and bedroom suite that felt so luxurious. Soundproofing allowed a wonderful sleep in a most comfortable bed. The house was naturally cool on a hot day but there is AC. We loved the roll down screens on the windows and just the charm and feel of a lovely place to stay.

Appartamento arredato con molto gusto, spazioso con tutti i comfort e pulitissimo tanto che l'impressione sia per me che per mia moglie è stata quella di essere a casa nostra. Giulio, il padrone di casa, è una persona molto piacevole ed ospitale e ci ha anche guidato nella scelta dei luoghi più significativi di questa magnifica zona della Puglia anche se la stessa città di Nardò e il suo centro storico ci ha donato bellissime serate musicali e piacevoli passeggiate. La socialità delle persone che abbiamo incontrato inoltre ha reso questa vacanza un'esperienza unica e da ripetere assolutamente.

Giulio and his wife were the most incredible hosts! My cousin and I had an absolute blast staying at Casina Elio and immersing ourselves in the culture of Salento through Giulio! The property was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, and felt like a home away from home. It was only a ten min walk to the city center of Nardo and the perfect launching pad for adventures nearby. Porto Selvaggio is only 10 mins away, Gallipoli is about 20, and Lecce 30. It was the perfect respite after a long day of exploring. I can not say enough good things about our hosts. They went above and beyond for us, and we left with our hearts full and with new friendships forged! Grazie mille, finché non ci incontreremo di nuovo! 😊❤️

La casa è bella, comoda, spaziosa e pulita. Zona silenziosa ma vicina al bellissimo centro storico di Nardò. C'è tanto da vedere in giro, spiagge bellissime a 15 minuti, la basilica di Santa Caterina a Galatina. Abbiamo avuto il privilegio casuale di conoscere Nico Preste che ci ha mostrato le sue opere. Che dire, un viaggio tra arte, bellezza, cultura, mare grazie al punto strategico in cui si trova la bellissima casina di Elio. Grazie, torno a casa felice.
