Location was excellent. Walk to town in five minutes.

Could do with mirrors. Exterior is a bit shabby but the actual house itself is very well equipped. The bathroom is downstairs which might be difficult for someone with mobility problems. The kitchen is excellent and has everything one needs.

house was clean, spacious and well equipped. perfectly located for the town Center but very quiet with parking right outside. would definitely book again

no toilet upstairs near bedrooms, not ideal travelling with elderly relation. but bathroom provided was large and clean

extremely clean, kitchen included quality whitegoods, great selection of pantry items, comfortable beds nice linen, new spacious bathroom with good shower and quality towels. lots of cleaning supplies provided. would stay again

exterior appearance created some initial hesitancy, this could be due to enabling wildflowers to grow freely for May to attract bees? backyard requires some upkeep. despite all Wi-Fi connection endeavours did not succeed with getting a stable connection. heating worked well in parts of the house but sitting room radiator luke warm at best. We did not contact house owner direct re this as we were out a lot and only required heating on first night. These queries would probably have been resolved if we had.

House no. 32 two doors away had a houseparty and was impossible to get my youngest daughter to fall asleep at bedtime, we slept in the back bedroom and the window was locked still slightly open and couldn't unlock to close the window fully.

A lovely place to stay - would love to go back.

Pretty much everything! Our host contacted us the evening before we travelled with details of getting the key etc so we were relaxed when our journey got a bit delayed as we didn't have to rearrange meeting anyone. She also contacted us the morning after we arrived to check that everything was OK for us, which we thought was very good customer service. The house was spotless and bright and there was a supply of all the toiletries, cleaning products, cooking utensils etc you would need(we didn't cook but we were very impressed!) The house felt very 'homely' as soon as we arrived. Fantastic location - pleasant walking distance from the centre of Ballina but such a lovely quiet area - the crows going about their business in the morning was the only 'noise'! The shower room was lovely - for a longer stay or a bigger group the fact that there was only one bathroom, which also contains the shower, might be a bit of an inconvenience at certain times(just once for us trying to get ready for a wedding!). We were in Ballina for a family wedding, but would love to go back some day for a longer stay in the lovely townhouse. It will be our first choice if ever staying in the area again.

1. The ad is true: it really IS a Lovely Ballina Townhouse 2. Very clean, tidy and organised (well stocked with cleaning equip. kitchen facilities, bathroom facilities and bedding). 3. For up to 4 or 5 persons it works out good value for money.

We booked to arrive between 3pm and 4pm. On arrival (around 3.45pm), I phoned to obtain the lockbox code but I was sent to the answerphone instead. Fortunately, the second attempt was successful. It wasn't the welcome I expected and I briefly feared I may have been scammed. (Might not it be better simply to send me the lockbox code at or around the expected time of arrival?)
