The style, it’s not just cheaply equipped, it’s curated with a design eye. The kitchen was sufficient and easy to use. Large bathroom with powerful shower. Lots of huge windows and 3 balconies. Easy access to the two hubs of Ostuni; the shopping on Via Pola and the historic centre of the old town. No more than 10 minutes to either.
It’s in the middle of town and next to a pizza restaurant popular with students etc. They can get noisy outside at night. Narrow streets are perfect for employing scooter noise. All accommodations are on the first floor or above so steep stairs to all apartments, through a traditional narrow door that can be hard to use.

This is a beautiful property with great amenities and a wonderful location.
We travelled in mid October, temperatures were cool-ish and cooler indoors as the heat does not seem to have been functional. We followed all the instructions in the manual provided but I suspect it was not actually turned in for the season. We sent multiple messages requesting assistance with this and did not receive any response. The temperature remained at 16 degrees C. Communication was prompt when regarding check in and check out times but non-responsive when attempting to solve a problem. The temperature made it a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

Design and set up was great. Also it was spacious! Wow. The place is a gem. Check in lady was friendly and competent. All instruction in e-book on what’s up.
The tourists should follow the garbage regulations. This is pretty strict and I wonder how you manage them if the garbage you produce (apple or banan pills are to be collected on the day you are not in. This could be organized differently.

The other guests at the accommodation were quiet.
The girl who handed me the keys did NOT speak clear English and I could not speak Italian. The girl FAILED to tell me that to get water in the shower the bottom knob of the two had to be pushed upwards and when in the shower it is NOT obvious that the knob has to be turned any way but right or left. nobody came to help me from Wonderful Italy they just sent text messages. It was TWO days before I was able to get the shower to work and that only after visiting the office in Ostuni and speaking to a person. The emergency pull in the bathroom is tied up high and would not be reachable if someone fell a definite safety failure and since there are no staff at the accommodation if the alarm had to be used there would be little in the way of assistance provided. There are a lot of staff in the office why could someone not be available to help customers who are in difficulty it is a short walk uphill from the office to the accommodation???!!! On the day I arrived other guests were also experiencing problems and nobody came to help them. On the day I left there was nobody to give the key to so the room had to be left unlocked with the key being placed on the bed, I was seen leaving the room on my way out so there was no security and it would be very easy for someone to enter the room and steal items that were therefore unsecure. I finally got the iron I needed but no ironing board so the bed had to be used, I think this would constitute a fire hazard. The safe was inside a chest and there were lots of items on top of the chest all of which had to be put elsewhere in the room to gain access to the safe. I did not use anything but the water from the fridge but to whom should I have paid the money for the other items if I had used any as there was nobody on my checking out day to take the room key or collect the iron.
