Awesome villa; quiet, secluded location yet easy and quick travel to Tavira.

A lovely stay had by all of us as a family of 5. Very detailed local information and directions, an easy check-in and helpful contacts who met us there. Secluded, peaceful but still within easy reach of fantastic beaches and restaurants. 5*

The villa is comfortable (we traveled only as 3 people but it’s a good place for 4-6) and located in a very serene area. You will have beautiful views around but need to drive around 20-25 min to beautiful beaches. The roads are however pretty and not too narrow so for us it was a pleasure to drive every day. The house was extremely clean and check-in very nice and easy.Debbie was always very helpful with lots of handy information. We had a wonderful vacation in Casa Lia and highly recommend it!

We were let down by the villa we had originally wanted to book in Spain and so had a last minute scramble to find somewhere to stay within our budget. Debbie was so helpful when I spoken to her and assured me that the Villa sounded like just what we needed.The pictures looked amazing and so we were quite excited. The whole process was very easy, We arrived in Faro and picked up our hire car, we called Mitchell and he was happy with us going shopping first and then meeting him. We found Aldi in Tavira with no trouble and bought a few bits to see us through the first few days and then met Mitchell for the final drive up to the villa.When we arrived, after the slightly hairy drive with narrow roads (I have never driven a LH drive car before) we arrived at the most amazing and beautiful location. The Villa was clean, light, bright and airy. With no immediate neighbours it was also very peaceful.There was plenty of space both inside and outside and amazing views from the roof terrace. You could even see the sea on the horizon. The rooms were all comfortable and clean, despite my visitor (I found a gecko on the wall but he kept hiding somewhere so I couldn't put him out) I slept very well. My friends found it a little too quiet, but they both live in a city so are not used the silence.We travelled to Tavira on 2 days of our short stay and found it to be a beautiful place, the people were all very friendly and the food in bar/restaurant Matias was amazing. We also took a drive to Pedras D'el Rei which was very easy to find with stunning beaches. it seemed very popular though with the beach still being packed when we arrived at 5.30pm.All in all we had an amzing break and are already thinking of returning next year and recommending it to our family and friends.
