Once beautiful villa in state of decline
The villa is located on a steep slope of a mountain valley providing nice views and peace. It could be ultimate, comfortable Mediterranean escape if refurbished and maintained properly. The lady who let us in was friendly and helpful (however, as I suspect, her responsibility is to manage guest arrivals and clean the place).
Unfortunately this place is in state of decline. It has traces of past glory, but now garden is dumped, some furniture outside are rotting, several things are broken. When you take a shower in upper-floor bathroom, water leaks through ceiling to the living room downstairs. You need to use force to open cupboard door, kitchen drawers have unpleasant smell. The overall impression is bit disturbing: of a once beautiful house abandoned by owners who have died or moved away for good and now no one really cares about it... Pity

Excellent location
The person giving us the key ended up being an hour late, and while they did warn us they were late, they didn't even pretend to apologies. The wiring in the property is faulty: if you switch the oven on, that will cut the power. It was full of insects everywhere, including black worms hanging off the ceiling. The property is not well looked after. It was bad, such poor value for money.
