there was no shower door or curtain so water flooded out of shower into bedroom
the shower head was broken from rail but was fixed after we asked
the sofa bed in living room was extremely hard and very uncomfortable
no toaster in kitchen toasters are not expensive items this is the first time ever we have not had a toaster
minimal storage for clothes for 2

The location was good as easy walk to main town area and bus stop - also within walking distance to catch boat to Spinalonga island.
We arrived at property around 4.30 pm but we could not access lock box as the power was off. Luckily a member of staff appeared - but he didn't seem to have much authority so I think perhaps he was the cleaner. We had to wait at least an hour for an electrician / technician to turn up so luckily there was a couple of seats available (we had just travelled by bus from Heraklion) When we finally got to our room - almost 2 hours later, the water was cold. We met a member of staff once only and no apology was made for the length of time we had to wait to access our room on arrival. The following morning we left the property to take boat trip but I returned to Hotel to get a warm top to wear. However exterior metal gates were closed and I couldn't get in. Someone turned up luckily (who said the doors should not have been closed - but they WERE!!) so I was able to get in. However, each time we returned to property we were worried that we might not be able to get in as metal gates locked. I tried called host on number I had via Booking.com but calls were never answered. Maybe cos end of season and they forgot we were there????
