The owner really tried with the communication. He doesn't really speak English and I don't really speak Mandarin but he tried his best to make sure we understand
The bed was a little harder than I expected but it was only for one night so it was okay

Good location! Friendly owner!
Water dispenser in the hallway ran out of water (only got about 50 ml of cold water). New water bottles in room, but I like to refill water bottles.

Has free laundry (self) service. Nearby eateries are nice and reasonably priced.
Should have better enforcement of no-smoking policy.

Considering the price, the location and facilities are quite good.
I spotted a massive cockroach running around in my room already one hour after arriving. I killed it, but since the staff was already away (and they could not speak English at all) I didn't have the possibility to change rooms. Did not spot other cockroaches after that, but still, one of the worst nights ever. Beds are also not comfy at all.
