Marijan Martinović Apartments

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in Zaton. From the beginning, communication with Laura (the daughter) was great – although we, unfortunately, didn’t get to meet her in person, she was very responsive and answered all our questions before our arrival. During our stay, her father Marijan took care of us with genuine kindness and hospitality. He met us by car in the town center late in the evening, showed us around the local beaches, and took us to the apartment. Throughout our stay, he was always available and ready to help – he even drove us to Vodice, and when we got caught in the rain, he kindly called us to check if we got back safely and if we needed any help. It was heartwarming! The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed in a family unit with a private kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and a lovely terrace where we had breakfast and coffee every morning. The apartment was spotless, had air conditioning, and was fully equipped – from towels to pots and pans. We truly felt at home. The beach is actually not far at all – Zvizda Beach is just a 15–20-minute walk through a shaded path by the water, which keeps it cool even in the heat. Just 5 minutes further is Šarina Draga Beach. Both beaches are equipped with toilets and changing rooms, and there’s even a bar and music at Zvizda Beach. Zaton is very peaceful, with few tourists – mostly locals, which gave it a charming and authentic feel. It’s also easy to reach Šibenik from there. We will always remember Zaton as a place of peace, delicious food, and amazing hospitality from Marijan and Laura. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to our friends!
