La casona

Very central location in Le Bourg d'Oisans and very responsive host. Comfortable apartment that met all our needs, including bicycle storage in an adjacent lockable shed

We have just stayed at La Casona for a week for a cycling trip and couldn’t fault the accommodation, host or location. It suited our needs perfectly. The apartment is exactly as per the images, had all the facilities we needed for our stay including everything we needed re kitchen facilities / BBQ etc. It was spacious, clean and there was nothing else that we needed. On an evening time it was quiet and located 30 seconds away from the nearest supermarket and around 100 metres to the start of the town centre. There was secure separate bike storage and an outside dining area. The host was superb, friendly and helpful, quick to respond to messages/queries and full of local knowledge. Instructions re keys, facilities, rules for the property were all sent in a timely manner and easy to follow. If I manage to get back to the Alpes for another cycling trip in the next couple of years, this would be my choice for location

With 4 people in total, best friend with daughter and myself with son for skiing holiday. Location is good, easily by car to get to Alpe d'Huez (15 min by car to gondola). Hosts are very friendly and helpful and reply answers very quickly. The apartment is spacious, spacious sleeping rooms and a nice bathroom. Sleeping beds ok. Separate toilet.

Entry not handy, right away in kitchen/livingroom. Kitchen equipment poor. Kitchen is out of date, exhaust fan kitchen is actually not working and electrical cooking plate is not working right. Cooking fumes through kitchen and living room. Only low cabinets sleeping rooms and of poor quality. Drawers easily fall out when using and only an open clothing rack. Toilet door and bathroom cannot be locked. Toilet only accessible via one sleeping room and the other way via second sleeping room then via bathroom and then in the hallway of toilet. No skilocker to dry your equipment (boots).
