Poor visitor services experience stands in sharp contrast to the projected image of the property

The location is convenient and central. The overall ambience and almostphere. The garden spaces and courtyards. High end gastronomical experience.

very poor and highly uncompentent level of the booking and FoH staff members. Orientation towards issue solving was almost absent. The process from post booking, addressing certain requests for a comfortable stay, check in procedures, require particular attention to ensure a smooth, worry free and customer friendly experience.

Oasis in the heart of a gentle city

Perfect location in the centre. The hotel is like an oasis. Staff is very helpful and attentive, super. The gym is one of the best I used in hotels ever.

My little critism is....breakfast....not a sea of choice but the charge is 60 eu per person. What am I supposed to eat for that large amount, its out of bounce (not only here, but in many hotels with 5* its a winning businessmodel).

Step into this hidden gem in historic Antwerp, where centuries-old heritage meets luxury.

Exceptionally exclusive ambience, set within a former monastery. Beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. The spa is exquisite, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was truly remarkable.

It’s quite a busy hotel, with many events taking place, so it can feel a bit crowded at times — naturally, given its central location.

Tranquil luxury haven in the city center of Antwep

Beautiful property at a great location in the city center of Antwerp. All the city’s main attractions are within walking distance. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and the rooms are wonderful. Loved their breakfast. Also Henry’s Bar is definitely worth a visit

The spa facilities are wonderful, the only downside is it was quite crowded when we visited during the weekend.

For the price the hotel is starting to look tired and the rooms are ok but I have stayed in many better for less money.

Location was fantastic. Food very good and bar and spice nice.

We were charged twice on checkout which we raised at the time but was told without doubt only one payment was taken. Being nearly £9000 this was annoying in itself but worse was how long it took to resolve. Several messages.

Beautiful Hotel with great room and service.

Good breakfast with excellent service from the staffs of the hotel. Hotel location is wonderful as it is within walking distance to food, shopping and transportation hub in Antwerp.

A place for car park would have made it more lovelier. Other than that, no other comments on this part.

Lovely oasis to relax and disconnect

This place truly earns its name as Sanctuary - it is a beautiful, restful oasis of quiet and relaxation within the heart of the city. Everything from the decor to the spa to the food is curated with so much attention to detail, the rooms feel luxurious but tasteful at the same time - and the spa (especially the swimming pool in a greenhouse setting, surrounded by medieval architecture and gardens) is something to behold! I would come back in a heartbeat.

All by all an ecstatic, exhilarating experience.

The service was exceptional, the welcoming happened in a very professional and comfortable way, and every single employee is helpful, friendly, very professional, and very strong in the refined art of hospitality. Also the concierge is a very smart and intelligent man that is very attentive to details and this with his teams makes this hotel one of the very best in Belgium, for sure (we tried all other 5 stars).

The setting is very beautiful, the plants are gorgeous, the only thing I would change is the art inside the building, it is rather chaotic on not very refined at least in the part of the hotel with "deluxe" rooms that I saw. There were some spots on the ceiling (like a lot) in our room like an explosion of some food happened. We had a coffee machine but the espresso cups were missing. for the rest a top-notch hotel. The pop-up restaurant is not bad, but the menu had a very sour taste, which is not a problem as such, except the balance of sourness was a bit too harsh in a few dishes. We also had to wait 45 minutes between the second and third meal dishes, which is a bit too long for a lunch that could be less lengthy.

The best party about the hotel is dealing with the extremely friendly, professional, and hospitable staff of the hotel. Also the hotels cleanliness and gym/spa is better than most in the region.

The old infrastructure of having separate toilet and shower rooms. It's more of the infrastructure of the past rather than the hotel itself.
