About this house rental
Enjoy your stay smack-dab in the center of Seattle in my 5-level Artist Loft. Up to 9 (respectful) guests and 1 (well behaved) dog will have ample space to spread out.
This is an authentic Seattle urban loft. It is a commercial + residential townhouse with 5 floors, and all 1200 sq feet is for you to enjoy. Formerly an art studio, it's chock-full of amenities and each floor has its own personality.
This is more than just a fun, roomy place to stay - I always appreciate my guest feedback and make it a priority improve and evolve. I am flattered to have held the VRBO title of Premier Host status since 2015.
You won't be bored. Play air hockey or bumper pool on the 1st floor. Or poker on the 2nd floor. On the 3rd floor cook some Alaskan salmon (from the nearby Fish Guys) in my cook's kitchen then hang out in the living room for a game of coffee table foosball. Enjoy a soaking tub or the view on the 5th floor. Choose from beds located on the 2nd - 5th floor.
My guests (and I) swear by Broadcast Coffee a few steps away, Across the street you can picnic or BBQ at the park. Next door is a convenience store. Walk to any of the local cafes or enjoy a flight of craft beer at Standard Brewery. You're near the International District, Capitol Hill and just a short drive to beautiful Lake Washington.
Getting around is simple, even without a car. Hop the bus at the front door to go directly to Pike Place, take the streetcar to the stadiums for the game, or just enjoy a family stopover on your upcoming Alaskan cruise.
BUT, please read the reviews. My Loft really is unique and won't be right for everyone. It's not a suburban rambler nor is it a hotel. For example, the quirky bathroom on the 4th floor is a euro-style wet rooms. The first floor game area feels like an industrial storefront. And it's got 5 flights of stairs! But it is a genuine taste of Seattle city life.
Unfortunately parties, events and unregistered guests are prohibited by my community. Check with me if you're unsure...I'm pretty nice.
I have a dedicated parking spot you can use. Keep in mind it's a typical in-city, compact spot with a tight turn (rent a small car - in general, Seattle parking is far from big-car friendly). Optionally there is ample safe & free street parking surrounding the Loft for bigger vehicles.

Amenities at Seattle Central Artist Loft - Huge. Eclectic urban vibe. Near the good stuff.

Really fun with space for everyone to relax after a full day of fun. The heated floors in the master bath were a nice surprise !! Only downside was the sun rising soo early in the morning during the summer and the master bedroom windows could use more darkening shades.

Terrific host and fun property with a lot of quirky furniture and functionality. It's close to everything you'd want to check out in Seattle and our host was extremely helpful with a list of places to check out in the area! Looking forward to coming back soon.

We loved it! This location is fun and unique, exactly as described. We loved watching the sunset from the 5th floor deck. Everything was clean and ready for us.

This property is difficult to enter in the dark. The front door isn't an entrance. I should have paid more attention to the bedrooms, 2 are in walk through areas- so no privacy. The pictures posted, in my opinion, make the living spaces bright when in reality it is dark, and being painted now with doors black.
