Rooms - Unique staying in Paphos Centre

Location was great and easy to get in. Bed was conformable. Plenty of room. Would use it again.

The room was quite spacious and nicely arranged. The air conditioning worked very well and cooled the room down quickly, which was great in the hot weather. There was also a large TV with access to Netflix, as well as a mini fridge, which was very convenient. Another big positive was the cleaning service. During the week we stayed there, the room was cleaned at least three times and the bed was made regularly. They also brought us a little basket with fresh towels and extra toilet paper, which was a very nice and practical touch. The shower gel provided also smelled really lovely.

What I didn’t like was that I chose the room based on the photos displayed on the property listing. However, the property has several different rooms/apartments, and the first and most attractive photos actually show a different, nicer apartment. They were not photos of the room I booked, which I found quite misleading. The shower was extremely small. You practically had to squeeze yourself in, so it could be very uncomfortable for anyone who is not very slim. There is also very little storage space for clothes. There is no wardrobe, only a small clothes rack with a few hangers and some additional hooks, which was not really sufficient. Communication was also disappointing. I sent a message asking whether a late check-out would be possible, for example, and never received a reply. Another important point is the kitchen. The description gives the impression that the apartment has its own kitchen, but this is not the case. The kitchen is located in the hallway and is shared between all four apartments/rooms. Inside the room, there is only a small wall shelf with the coffee machine and kettle. I think the actual setup should be stated much more clearly in the listing. One more downside specifically regarding Apartment 4, where we stayed, is that there is no access to a terrace or balcony, so there is nowhere outside where you can sit and have a coffee. There is also essentially no view or privacy from the windows. One window faces the wall of another building, while the other faces an alley with another building and a restaurant. Because of this, we basically had to keep the curtains closed most of the time for privacy, which made us feel a little like we were undercover. 😄
