Hampton Inn Franklin, NC

Beds were wonderful - a little high to climb into but very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, great selection.

The bed was comfortable, the wardrobe was nice, the refrigerator worked well, and I liked that I could darken the room really well. The space could have been larger. Also I would have appreciated a small table with chairs for eating in the room.

I wish the room was larger and that it had a small table with chairs for dining in.

Locations was convenient to Smokey Mountain Center of Performing Arts concert we attended.

Staff was pleasant & helpful is the positive. Carpet in room had stains. It looked & felt dirty. Not sure if it has ever been cleaned. Funky smell in the room. No hand soap/bar in the bathroom, only facial soap & body wash. No Kleenex in dispenser. Yes, I could have called the desk or walked down for these items, but isn’t that part of cleaning & restocking the room?? One bulb in bath was almost out so it was extremely dim. One bulb( of only 2) in credenza /desk was blown; cobwebs, dirt & dust around the air conditioner, not to mention the whining sound it made. Dirt (or something) in ice from the machine. This was on 2 different occasions (days). Numerous Cracks & poor attempts to repair on the ceiling. Overall, a super 8 or motel 6 room quality with a “triple” price tag.
