Absolutely stunning Chateau, beautifully restored and presented, a real credit to the owners. Fantastic grounds and meticulously maintained gardens which staying guests are free to explore. Our stay was a unique and special experience that will be long remembered. Welcoming and helpful staff, lovely breakfast delivered to the room. Overall a fantastic experience and would have no hesitation in recommending.

Only minor points, but it's not very clear where to check in on arrival, luckily we met the owner in the gift shop who was superb, quickly arranging staff with a golf cart to take us and our luggage to the room. The on-site restaurant requires booking before 3pm, not ideal as that's before check in time, and the set menu wasn't available to view online. We did however dine there and can say we found the food and service excellent.

It was wonderfully cool inside the 8'-thick walls, and tranquil in the evening when the grounds were closed to the public. We loved having the fabulous gardens to ourselves, and breakfast, laid out for us in the morning, was large and very good.
