The accommodation was clean, cozy, comfortable, the property has beautiful walks to rivers and waterfalls. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We did not need to go to Dullstroom to pass our time.
The truck traffic on Friday night was particularly busy and the sound was quite noticeable.

Suggest bringing your own firewood from home, since Dullstroom wood tends to be a bit wet (in my experience). We brought dry wood with us, which worked out well.

We were welcomed with cupcakes and made to feel at home straight away. The cottage was the perfect size and equipped with all the amenities we needed. It has a cozy fireplace and overlooks a dam. The fountain outside the cottage makes for a tranquil morning coffee. The owner is friendly and responsive with questions when making a booking.
The facilities and decor are rather dated and could do with some modernising. There is no WIFI which is great for a breakaway but needed for work and if traveling with children. The cottages aren't serviced (although this can be arranged in advance) which is good to know beforehand. Dullstroom is 30km away, which is a pleasant drive but very dark at night.
