Dunes by the Shore - Walk to the Beach!

This property was lovely. Nicely updated. And most importantly very close to the harbor to take the ferry out to Channel Islands National Park.

We had a blast! Nice neighborhood. The pictures were true to size. The bedrooms were nice and big. I would definitely go back.

My sister-in-law enjoyed a long weekend reunion here. We cooked a lot and slept great. The property is exactly as described—quiet neighborhood and ocean-close. A relaxing place to simply hang out. We were here shortly after the LA fires and watched the first glorious rain fall in nearly 300 days—to our delight, we could then see snow-covered mountains from the backyard!

This Duplex unit is newly renovated and is exactly what the pictures reflect online, very nicely appointed. It has a upstairs tenant with shared driveway parking, two parking spots are allocated for the unit. The property had numerous upgrades, video games, shuffle board etc. and was very clean with the exception that the dishes and glasses had heavy soap deposits? The only other downfalls that we noted was the entry was located in such a manner that every time you entered or existed you had little to no privacy. This was primarily because you faced two units next door that had a full view of their living rooms and the occupants inside. We thought that some kind of privacy fence or barrier would have been very nice so you didn’t see the neighbors and vice versa numerous times daily. The fully fenced backyard was beautiful, however for some reason it did not have a gate to secure it? We had our grandkids visit a few times and had to chase one of them down because there was no gate... Again, overall very, very nice duplex unit, it looked almost brand new...
