Glyfada Home 113 by New Era in Menigos Resort Apartments

Beautiful seaside on the end of the world. I love the big balcony in the shadow. Going to Glifada remember that getting there without car is not so easy. Option 1: From airport take bus 15, go to the Sanrocco square, on the same stop change to bus 11 (only 4 times a day), go to the end in Pelekas. From here you have 1 hour walking by the street (about 4 km). Option 2: you also start with bus 15, but only to green bus station, from which you have bus to Glyfada also 4 times a day. Both option means paying about 4-5 Euro. In Glifada you have only 3 expensive shops (something to eat, something to improve beach-activities) and 5 restaurants with delicious local dishes. After 9 pm. everything closes and after 10 pm. you hear only the sea, different than during the day, when crickets-orchestra play loudly. In the apartment you have sun-umbrella and plastic chairs to take on the beach, also the iron, hair-dryer are available. There aren't lot of insects, but professional mosquito net helps to avoid having it inside. A big convenience is water in front of building, where you can clean the sand from your legs.

Although the staff helps in everything you want by WhatsApp (f.i. taxi transfer) - they totally don't come to you for tidying, making your room or something. You just live for your own and take responsibility for how you prosper during your stay.

Its was great had everything & an amazing view..

The walk back up hill(steps) to the apartment in hot weather was hard work but thats not a major thing. Its worth it for the view from the apartment though.

The apartment is amazing and Irene is very helpful and welcoming! Great air conditioning, balcony with a beautiful view, a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely shower room, and a large bedroom with everything you need. The location is beautiful, the apartment is very close to beach and the local shops and restaurants too.
