Cottage Massanet

Schönes Jugendstil Haus mit guter Lage. Sehr nette & Sympathische Gastgeberin. Liebevolles Frühstück auf einer kleinen Terrasse serviert bekommen. Von der Hausbesitzerin viele wertvolle Tips für die Umgebung erhalten. Das schöne war wir konnten zu jeder Zeit den tollen Pool genießen. Gerade bei diesen hohen Temperaturen.

Es gab von unserer Seite nichts zu beanstanden.

The location was good; Cottage Massanet was within walking distance of the centre making it convenient for public transport and outside dining. (We were on foot but those with a car could make use of off-road parking). The hostess was fantastic in that she did all she could to make us welcome, with a wealth of knowledge of Grasse and surrounding areas and plenty of leaflets on what was happening in and around. Breakfast was very good with the freshest of ingredients. For me, it was the charm of the home and its beautiful furniture and decoration (traditional French). Also, a swimming pool!

Because of this great accomodation it made my stay in grasse perfect. I loved it very much. The location is very near to the centre.

Nothing, but guests have to walk some stairs to get to the room. personally, i didnt mind.

The location is uphill from the town, eg Fragonard and takes about 10 minutes walking. A perfectly safe walk at night, well lit. The house is rather faded glory but with a wonderful swimming pool and loungers. My room was in the attic so sloping ceilings and although my bathroom was private, it was very small and down a corridor. The lady who owns the house is a great host and really interesting to talk to and makes utterly delicious fig jam!

I felt that breakfast could have been rather more generous- a variety of fruit to choose from rather than just one. The same for yoghurt. The bread, whilst different varieties, was never straight from the boulangerie to the table which was a sadness. Delicious coffee however.
