Station Villa Plaisir Mt. Fuji

Very spacious, clean room with wifi and lots of useful amenities.

A little far from station 10 minutes walk.

The trailer was really, really spacious. The location was incredible, the amenities were abundant, airco worked well, amazing shower... It was all in all very great. I especially liked the loft, it gave it a very cozy vibe. When I arrived the host was present to help with getting the key out of the lockbox and getting inside. I've seen others note on the abundancy of rules, and breaking these rules ending with having to pay fees, but I didn't have an issue with this at all. Most 'rules' are the basic ones you get at any place you stay at. If you're respectful, and aware of the fact that you're staying in someone's place, they really aren't an issue at all.

The only thing I was missing was a place on the property to sit and chill outside. Like some lawn chairs in the back, or just a bench even. Because the scenery was really quiet beautiful and would've loved seeing the sun go down, or looking at Mount Fuji in the morning! A smaller thing is that you could really hear it when others were walking around outside, or even in their own trailer. This is just something that comes with choosing to stay in a place like this though, and it didn't bother me that much, but it's good to know if you're sensitive about these things.

Cozy and had everything we needed. Convenience store nearby, a 15 minute walk from the station. Kind host, he even went after us to give us something we forgot in the room which was very appreciated!

You have to put the bedsheets yourself, it's not rare for Japan but because it was a sofa-bed it was less convenient.

That you needed to setup your own bed. The couch was way to hard even with the matrasses on top of it.
