Kent Clair Ishigaki Bay

10 minutes walk from the bus terminal and the nice evening spots. Big and comfortable apartments with decent view to the port Had a nice stay

It took a second to understand the self check in process and there was no staff to be seen. But it’s a very simple process once you get the point

Good base to explore ishigaki. You get more space than a hotel for similar price plus fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Make sure to ask for parking.

Location isn't the hippest but within walking distance of the center/amenities. Quiet at night tho.

The apartment was spacious enough for me and had all the amenities that I needed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The staff were helpful and informative and the self check in process was pretty straightforward. It’s located in a quieter part of the city, 10-15 mins walk from the center and the port which is good but even more ideal if you rent a car/scooter.

Nothing in particular

has everything you need to stay comfortably, cook meals and take care of yourself. impressed by the facilities and things available in the apartment. there is a good selection of cookware and seasonings, which really helps to cook healthily without relying on outside food. lots of cleaning supplies and easy to do washing/keep the apartment clean and tidy. a decent location in terms of being close to the ferry terminal, farmer's market and the city itself

really noisy most days except the weekend (sometimes) since it's right by the ports/industrial area and there is construction (sometimes on the apartment building, which was vibrating the room), can be quite stressful. roadworks and work on the footpaths leading to the place everywhere isn't ideal either. internet access is poor, if you need reliable internet, this is not the place for you. the internet came from a smartphone that was always on, plugged into a wall charger, which was quite frustrating to use most days. induction cooker on the left-hand side heats up extremely fast (it can boil almost instantaneously and i burnt some food sadly). there is exposed wood on the right-hand side of the bed which i hurt my foot/toe on several times (pretty unsafe to be honest)
