This house worked well for our extended family (ages 3-92!). Nice and clean. Well stocked kitchen. We used the hot tub, the 3 kayaks and some of the yard games. Having the separate living space (apt.) allowed for easy naps for the toddler. There were issues with the doors to that unit, which is why we’re not giving it a 5 stars rating.

Great location on the beach. Short distance from ferry. We enjoyed sitting on the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding and crabbing. Visited few restaurants and winery. Hiked and grandson fished (although he didn’t get a bite). Very relaxing vacation with the family.

Just an amazing weekend here! I loved everything about it. The location couldn't be better, the house itself was beautiful and the hot tub was such a treat.There were dog bowls, child locks, and a pack n play, and a bottle of wine and s'mores goodies ready to use!!! I stayed with my elderly parents, and my kids (1.5 and 4) and my dog. It was perfect. Could not recommend this place more! We will hopefully be back!!!

Although this listing is for one day, we did stay in this fantastic property for 13 days (through another service) with our family during the holidays.There were 7 adults and a 6 year old child. The pictures do not do this property justice! To begin with, my husband and I arrived earlier than our adult children to decorate for the holidays. We were pleasantly surprised when we turned down the private road and saw the property - beautiful. When we opened the door we were greeted with a welcome basket that was filled with ingredients for s'mores and a bottle of wine! The view is spectacular - a result of the windows (see photos) and the cathedral ceilings. This home had everything we needed and more. Although there were 7 of us and a child, we never felt crowded. Oh did I mention we had 2 small dogs!The fur babies were accommodated by their own food bowls, a basket with doggie bags, and extra leashes! Who does that?! In all our rentals over the years we have NEVER had anyone leave items for our pets.Kirsten and Kristi purchased extra firewood so we could use the firepit (we thought we'd have to do that). We used the firepit twice, roasted hot dogs, had took advantage of the s'mores. We didn't have to worry about cars as the road was private so we were able to take our dogs off leash and let them run the yard and the beach. The loft was marvelous and surprise! there were all sorts of board games for adults as well as children. Then Kirsten announced that a hot tub was being installed on the deck while we were there - BONUS! We all agreed that even tho the property was amazing the icing on the cake was Kristen & Kristi. Within an hour of our being at the property, we received a txt message asking if everything was to our liking, did we need anything, and then Kristen sent us suggestions for places to eat, and areas to visit. As the hot tub was being installed we met Kristi who was a truly lovely person and again asked if we needed anything.The communication with both of them was amazing! By the time we all left, we felt as if they were old friends. All of my family travels internationally for work, and have been using 2 of the major home rentals sites - we have NEVER had a better experience than the one we had with Kirsten and Kristi!If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to answer them.We now call their property our "second home" and intend to stay there every chance we get!
