About this apartment rental
Pure relaxation in nature
Our vacation rental is located on a farmstead surrounded by nature.
The four-family house also includes another vacation rental with the same amenities and terms, as well as two other apartments that are permanently occupied.
It was completely renovated in 2015, including a new built-in kitchen with a dishwasher.
Of course, the apartment is equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
The apartment is located on the upper floor but features a terrace in the garden with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and a grill.
The trampoline in the garden, as well as the nest swing and the sandbox, can be shared by both vacation apartments.
With approximately 80 square meters of space, it sleeps 2–5 people. One bedroom has a double bed (180x200), while the other has a bunk bed with a lower bunk (140x200) and an upper bunk (90x200)
The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a bathtub, which is perfect for a “relaxing soak” or cleaning up “little mess-makers.”
In the living room, you’ll find a seating area, armchairs, satellite TV, a DVD and music system, CDs and DVDs, games, and books, as well as a Wii—just in case the weather isn’t cooperating.
The fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher, freezer, and microwave) leaves nothing to be desired for passionate home cooks. It’s the perfect opportunity to prepare the fish you just caught after a visit to the waterfront town of Bremerhaven or a fishing pond.
For families, we’re happy to provide some necessary equipment free of charge to make your stay a little more comfortable (we speak from experience : ). This includes, among other things, a high chair, a children’s play area, a crib, a travel crib, a changing table, a changing pad, toys, a wooden handcart and a foldable one for outings, scooters, a picnic blanket, and a cooler bag—just to name a few. We’re also happy to accommodate other requests.
If you’re an avid cyclist or would like to ride your bike to pick up fresh bread in the morning, there are plenty of opportunities to do so on the various bike paths in the Elbe-Weser Triangle.
We’re happy to provide bicycles and bike maps upon request for a fee. For those interested in e-bikes, we’d be happy to refer you to a bike rental service. You can store your own bikes in a lockable bike garage.
There’s also a unique opportunity to ride your bike to the Stubben train station, just 2 km away (bicycles are allowed on the train), and explore the areas around Bremen, Bremerhaven, Cuxhaven, or even Wangerland and East Frisia.
There is an indoor riding arena with stalls in our neighborhood, which can be rented by prior arrangement. Horseback riding is available in the immediate vicinity.
Bed linens and towels are included in the rental price, so you don’t need to bring your own. Upon request, we’ll also provide beach towels for trips to the beach.

Eine schöne, saubere und voll ausgestattete Wohnung in ruhiger, idyllischer Lage. Mit Terrasse und direktem Zugang zum Garten.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Familie Mehrtens. Bei Anreise erwartete uns neben einer wunderschön und vorallem sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung auch eine wunderschöne Umgebung die zum genießen und entspannen eingeladen hat. Für unseren Sohn und auch uns gab es für schlechtes Wetter Bücher und spiele, für schönes Wetter eine terasse mit gemütlichen Sitz Möbeln und fürs Kind ein riesiges trampolin und diverse andere Spielsachen. Allabendliche Spaziergänge durchs Dorf wurden schnell zur Gewohnheit.
Die Wohnung ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was man zum wohlfühlen braucht. Wir werden garantiert wiederkommen. Es war toll bei euch.

Das Inserat hat eine Menge versprochen und es wurde alles eingehalten. Wir sind sehr begeistert von dieser Unterkunft, in der es wirklich an nichts fehlt.
Wir konnten die Ruhe genießen und das Kind hatte viele Möglichkeiten sich zu beschäftigen oder einfach nur den Traktoren zuzusehen.
Die Vermieterin ist offen und freundlich und der Kontakt verlief ohne Probleme.
Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft gern jederzeit weiter und kommen auch gern nochmal wieder.
Es war ein toller Urlaub für die ganze Familie.

Wir waren mit unsere beiden Kindern (19 und 1,5 Monate alt) bei Familie Mehrtens in der Ferienwohnung und haben einen wundervollen Urlaub verbraucht. Frau Mehrtens hat uns sehr warmherzig empfangen und war für jede Frage stets erreichbar. Auch wenn mal etwas nicht funktioniert hat, wird sich sofort gekümmert! Das Gründstück ist schön gelegen und der Garten lädt zum Schaukeln, Trammpolinspringen und Gänse-schauen ein. Bei gutem Wetter aber auch zum Grillen und gemütlich draußen sitzen.
Die Wohnung hat wirklich alles parat was das Herz begehrt, besonders die Küche war komplett ausgestattet. Wir haben uns fast so gefühlt, als würden wir hier selbst wohnen.
Alles sehr durchdacht und man merkt dass viel Herz drin steckt!
Herzlichen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.
