La atención de Mimika y su marido, dos personas excepcionales, atentas y amables.
La villa consta de 3 apartamentos independientes, el nuestro con 2 habitaciones, con AACC en cada una, y un porche de ensueño.
El baño con ducha, muy cómodo y limpio
La playa a 5 minutos de la villa, supermercados, tiendas, bares, todo muy cerca. Cocina totalmente equipada.
Muy tranquilo para dormir pero cerca de los bares si quieres alternar.

We loved our stay! The accommodation is beautiful, functional and clean. There's AC, beds are comfortable, kitchen has everything you might need if you don't want to spend a fortune on restaurants every day. We enjoyed two terraces and a nice view towards the mountain.
Location is also great, there's a nearby free parking which you can use if you're renting a car. There's a bus stop (also very close) to take the bus to Fira, it's very convenient. There are car rental and ATV rental places nearby, a 24/7 bakery with lovely ice cream and baked goods, a mini market, lots of bars, and restaurants. The beach is super close too - just 5 minutes away by foot. You can go for a hike to a lovely small church nested on the mountain and also hike to Ancient Thira (closer by foot than by car; by car you'll need go around the island and to access it from the other side of the mountain).
Hosts were extremely helpful and nice - they did everything they could to let us in very early in the morning since we had a night flight. They greeted us with some baked croissants as a compliment. They made sure to buy us drinking water since we didn't have any, and we were very tired from the trip (so lovely) and made recommendations on where to eat and where to go shopping for food and drinks. They also offered to drive us to the airport on our way back if we didn't have transportation.
10/10 would definitely recommend, and especially if you'd love to help out a local family! 🥰
Tap water is not drinkable (salty), but that's everywhere you go on this island, and it's not up to the hosts. Just make sure you don't drink it or use it for coffee/tea, etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mimika in Perissa. The studio was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a cozy bedroom, kitchenette, and shower. The location is perfect — a short walk to the pebbly but pleasant and uncrowded beach, bakeries, restaurants, souvenir shops, and the bus stop. Nearby, there are many quad and scooter rentals and local agencies for excursions with convenient pickup from Perissa. The owners allowed luggage storage on departure day and provide an extra bathroom to freshen up, before leaving to the airport. They live on the ground floor but were never intrusive, and even if their English is limited, communication via messaging apps was quick and helpful. Highly recommended!
The only minor downside was one of the air conditioners that wasn't working properly during our stay (the air conditioning in the other rooms worked fine), but as far as I know it has already been fixed.
