OK for one night if you not too fussy!

The hostel is run by a friendly helpfully old man. He tried very hard to make my stay a good one. Entrance is through a big roadside door into the garage. Industrial plastic strips divide it from a courtyard garden. Inside it is like stepping back to the 1980’s. There is a kitchen, shared bathroom and small toilet. My bedroom was nice enough. The bed was a bit old, but, clean. I slept well enough. The bathroom is big with a shower over; no curtain. The host provided me with a towel. Toiletries. The breakfast was good; plenty of it. There is a bar, a boulangerie and shop within 100yards.

It is old and I think the host struggles with it. It was clean enough for me; as long as you didn’t look too closely. It is dark and dated. Everything is brown! Brown ceilings, brown tiles, brown furniture! The host has collected a lot of things over the years and they need a lot of dusting! OK for one night if you not too fussy!

Recommend not to stay there and rather pay 5€ more somewhere else

Calm town

We felt very uncomfortable in the accomodation. It smelled like catfood in the whole house, it was not clean and there is a cat in the rooms, for us with a cat allergy it was impossible to stay there. The old man was nice to us in the beginning but then is completely uncooperative and does not reply, neither to us nor booking.com so no way to get a refund. We are not picky and it is not an expensive accomodation so we did not expect luxery but Definitely cannot recommend staying there.

Authentic French stay, comfy and clean

Travelling through on bikes and gerad was very accommodating. Even gave us fresh towels. We thank him a lot for our stay and will come back in the future. Everything was great.

Pleasant

Lovely family home and gardens, everything you could think of that you need like a fully functional kitchen and even a stair gate if kids stay. Loved the bedroom, the bedsheets were brilliant and there was a fan. Also location is STUNNING and there's a great bakery 10 seconds walk away

Shared bathroom was very mucky, did not want to clean the bath to use it, and shower was meh. Traffic a little noisy but earplugs help

Country side calmness

Very cheap in a nice typical french country house. If you like romantic more then luxury then this is a great place for you. The surroundings are great, nice chateau 1 min walk away. Bakery even closer. Close to Paris and Amiens.

Very dark if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. And there was a smell of smoke in the air coming from something nearby.

Very friendly and cozy

It was a very special experience, it was just like sleeping at a friends house. The owner of the rooms is very friendly and helpful, and it is a nice place to stop when you are riding your bicycle to Santiago de Compostella :)

There isn't really anything that I disliked, but the location of the rooms is not ideal. It is quite a small village, and as far as I know there are no supermarkets in the village. Apart from that, everything was good.

No frills overnight stay.

Friendly and helpful owner who parked his car outside for the night so my motorcycle could be parked safely inside. It is a budget accommodation at a budget price. It is clean and comfortable for a no frills overnight stay. Owner speaks a little English, but well enough to get along fine.

No shower, only a bath. Room is located on the third floor.

Hospitalité

L'accueil de Gérard avec qui il est fort agréable de discuter, ce qui change des conciergeries anonymes proposées ailleurs... Il nous met à disposition sa maison, nous propose du café dès notre arrivée... Une hospitalité sincère. La chambre fut calme bien que située à côté d'une rue passante, la literie est de bonne qualité, la salle de bain tout à fait fonctionnelle. Tout est très propre. Un "chez l'habitant" parfait, le contact humain en plus. Petit plus, l'établissement "au grand sapin" peut accueillir les cyclistes dans d'excellentes conditions (outillage disponible, douche etc...). Sur la route de St Jacques de Compostelle, c'est une adresse précieuse !

Vriendelijk onthaal in een oud huis

De gastheer was zo vriendelijk om mij en een andere gast met de auto naar een plaatsje 10 km verderop naar een restaurant te brengen en weer terug te brengen. De bakker was 50 meter verderop en beleg was er, thee ook. Ik kreeg een stempel van de Compostella route

Nous n'avons pas pris de PDJ. Toutefois le propriétaire a fait un gros effort en nous attendant après 23h55 pour nous remettre les clés.

Maison Pittoresque et hote très arrangeant nous a permis de récupérer les clés en tout début d'après-midi pour être ensuite autonome Un jardin magnifique même si nous n'avons pas passé assez de temps pour en profiter
