Note that breakfast is not included, although you had free use of the kitchen which we did not sue. There is, however, a boulangerie just down the road and a Tabac a few meters further on on the opposite side of the road that opens at 06:30 and you can take food there. Good coffee too

The hostel is run by a friendly helpfully old man. He tried very hard to make my stay a good one. Entrance is through a big roadside door into the garage. Industrial plastic strips divide it from a courtyard garden. Inside it is like stepping back to the 1980’s. There is a kitchen, shared bathroom and small toilet. My bedroom was nice enough. The bed was a bit old, but, clean. I slept well enough. The bathroom is big with a shower over; no curtain. The host provided me with a towel. Toiletries. The breakfast was good; plenty of it. There is a bar, a boulangerie and shop within 100yards.

It is old and I think the host struggles with it. It was clean enough for me; as long as you didn’t look too closely. It is dark and dated. Everything is brown! Brown ceilings, brown tiles, brown furniture! The host has collected a lot of things over the years and they need a lot of dusting! OK for one night if you not too fussy!
