We had an absolutely wonderful stay at MarkEm Village House in Katouna. The property was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here — the private pool was fantastic, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Lefkada, and having two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it ideal for our family. The villa itself was beautiful — spotless, comfortable, and full of greek character, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.
What really made this stay unforgettable, though, was the owner. We ran into some car trouble during our time in Katouna, and he went above and beyond to help us sort it out. He was incredibly responsive throughout our entire stay, always just a message away, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great time. That kind of warmth and willingness to help is rare, and it's exactly the kind of hospitality that makes a trip to Greece so special.
Between the lovely property, the private pool, and the owner's generosity, we couldn't have asked for a better base to explore Lefkada. Highly recommend MarkEm Village House to anyone looking for comfort, charm, a great pool, and a host who truly looks after his guests. We'd happily come back!

Het zwembad was top! Perfecte grootte voor ons 2-jarig zoontje. De eigen parkeerplek en de ligging waren voor ons ideaal. Het contact met de host ging ook vlot en we kregen zelfs nieuwe handdoeken!
schade aan de auto door een korte bocht, maar dit werd gelukkig gedekt door de verzekering.
Het water van het zwembad heeft wel een vieze smaak als je dit per ongeluk binnen kreeg... :p
